@dbutcher It is typically better to hold onto the handle and allow the boat to pull it away. Not always possible but better than tossing it which could have some unwanted consequences.

Changing ropes before my current one gets stale, bent handle, both palms down on starts, and just went to a larger diameter handle this past season. And of course, reducing the numberr of slack line hitsall have helped reduce or eliminate pain in elbows and wrists.

it's ridiculous looking for sure, but what's the battery recharge rate? I recently heard of a car battery charger that can recharge a battery in ~ 5min, about the same time it takes to fill a tank of gas. If true, that may be an option in the future of electric boats, depending on several factors, i.e. cost for one.

@ALPJr I too was a Bbal official, many moons ago, and when they started making us do a lot of crazy, nonsensical crap, I decided to spend my time at other activities. I seldom mis officiating Bball and really enjoy my other hobbies. While I don't compete, take that option away and I'll still enjoy free skiing and skiing at my local club.

Assuming these mandates continue... I wonder if a skier from 'far left' commits a 'faux pas' if they will be allowed to ski in a tournament/continue their membership?

A really good glove with a better grip than most. Kevlar may last longer but tears up my handles and doesn't have nearly as good a grip. I ski ~100 days/season, 2 sets each day and go through 2 pairs a season. The grip seems to last but I get holes on left hand (palm down) about an inch below the base of the small finger.
