  1. Yes it is painful.

I've had 5 rib injuries in the last 2.5 years, 4 from skiing. One thing I've learned is that the sooner you can get it back in place the better. It drastically improves healing time. One time I got it put back in the next day and there was almost no recovery time.

This time I bought this and I hope it helps prevent them in the future:

  2. I've owned a 2017 5.7 Prostar for about a year and have recently driven and skied behind a SN 200.  In the past year I've skied between 24 and 30 mph, 15 off.

    Roominess  + 8 Prostar

    Wakes  - difference negligible

    Layout - + 10 Prostar

    Throttle + 2 SN 200

    Hull  + 2 SN 200

Zero Off interface + 10 Prostar

    Engine startup + 3 SN 200

    Interior quality - + 2 Prostar

    Seat comfort + 3 Prostar

    Rudder + 3 SN 200

    Bow cover + 5 Prostar

    Trailer + 2 Prostar

    Tracking + 2 SN 200

    Hole shot - difference negligible

I've owned only Nautiques since 1980 until last year and I'm very happy with the Prostar.

  3. Your initial turn in for the gate looks good. Maintain your lean through the wakes and that will get you earlier to 1 ball.

At 15 off you can get wider and cut the back side of 1 ball but you have to be earlier to do that. That will put you on a good angle to 2.

Lean more behind the boat. (Stack, you mentioned that.)

    All things I"m working on.
