  9. Hi guys, I had a 2011 65" senate last year and I ended up selling it, so I got a 66" strada off ski it again. I haven't skied the course with it yet but I have done some free skiing and It feels pretty good. I just started skiing the course at the end of last year and I skied some good 15 offs at 30 mph and ran a couple decent 15 offs at 32 mph (on the senate). Now I'm just concerned that the strada might be not the right ski. I have done some reading and I have heard that people at my skill ski on stradas and are fine. I'm just worried it may be too much ski. What do you guys think? Thanks.
  10. So in the future are we going to start seeing more high end skis with a stepped bottom?
  11. Just got off the water with the new grip. Picked it up right away, and I coudn't thank you guys enough for convincing me. My gate and offside is so much better, I'm getting so much more angle and speed. I felt so much more controlled and smooth I couldn't believe the difference it made, thanks guys.
  12. Last night I was looking through some waterski mags when it suddenly hit me that all these LFF skiers were using the opposite grip from what I use (also LFF). I use a RFF skiers grip with left palm up, instead of how I'm supposed to do it with my left palm down. So is that really a big deal, and what am a missing out on by using the wrong grip, besides getting a more balanced offside? Today I'm probably going to start using the different grip, so how long would you guess it will take me to get used to it? Thanks.
  13. Will it make any difference in how I ski?
  14. I'm getting a Fly High Extended Pylon (not X-pole) for barefooting and was wondering if the delron swivel at the bottom for slaloming is at the height of the regular ski pylon, or is it higher? And if it's a little higher will I notice at all when I'm slaloming? Thanks.
  15. for those of you that have been to H2OZ what did you think of it?
  16. Don't know much about it, was lookin to get some more info on it from you guys. How does it compare to the 9960, and other high-end skis on the market?
  17. does anyone know of a video that shows the installation process of the portable course?
  18. Insta slalom or ez slalom portable course? Thanks.
  19. I'm looking into getting a portable slalom course that I will put in during the day then will take out later in the same day. I was wondering if I need a permit to put it in the water, even though it will only be in for not even a whole day?(this is in Wisconsin) Thanks.
