  1. @rfa Great seeing you again Rui! I need to pencil in Pangea for next year, I forgot what a great time there is to had at Vosburghs. Thanks for the links on the discounted pucks. Not sure what route I will go yet on the pucks.
  2. @LeonL As per Eric's instructions I disconnected both pucks then did a system shutdown/restart and the screen came on. I plugged in puck #1 and screen went blank. Unplugged puck #1 did a shutdown/restart and screen came back on. Plugged in puck#2 screen stayed on but no GPS signal even after a lengthy restart/idle period. I got Eric on the phone and he thought puck #2 went bad but system was still operating with one puck. Then puck 1 went bad and shorted out the screen display.

    I think.....

  3. Got my ZO figured out, bad puck or pucks. Called ZO today and got a guy named Eric from tech support. He walked me through the checklist. Basically check for steady 12 volts at the red and pink wire that was on my key switch. Check. Verify ZO has a good ground. Check. Unplug pucks and reboot system, voila, my head unit works! My next dilemma is do I replace the Garmin pucks or do the upgrade to single puck. With the single puck I need to hunt down the cable to do the software update.
  4. My ZO head unit is blank. When I start the boat ZO beeps 3-4 times and screen is completely blank. The diagnostic menu in the ZO manual doesnt help as the screen doesnt work, Any Ideas? I sent an e mail out to ZO this morning.
  5. I'm on the tail end of Men 4 and I ski 3-4 times a week and only ski back to back on weekends. I'm with a personal trainer twice a week and do 1 hour cardio on the days I dont ski. Last year I couldn't maintain this routine and gave up the gym altogether. I put on weight and my skiing consistancy sucked. This year I eliminated all alcohol during the week, not a drop for six of the seven days. I'm eating less at night (cause i'm not boxed) and sleeping better. I'm excited about my new routine this year. I know it's tough with a little one but I think a good nights sleep is the key and when you fall behind on sleep you can't catch up in one night.
  6. @303Skier I'm Bouyhead over on TT and converted my 96 PS 190 to a PCM 6.0 for ZO a few years ago. Without getting into details, my conversion after selling my powertrain was less then 10k. I do ski the new 200 at tourneys 22,28,32 off and must say The big differance between the two boats is the wake, my 96 has a bit of a kick on anything before 32 off compared to the new stuff but its not a deal breaker. My ski partner skies nationals and never complains. I do spend winters in FL with my boat and must say I can give just as good as of pull shortline as I can behind a newer boat. The bow does ride a bit high on the 95-97 vintage hull but its a great boat nonetheless. If I can be of any assistance PM me over on TT as I'm not here on BOS on a daily basis. If you would like to ski/ drive my boat I'll be bringing my boat to West Palm Beach the second week of November and will be in WPB twice a month all winter.
