  1. Hey Than, I don't have your email so I had to resort to the form, Sorry. With all this rain in New England are we able to have the New England Slalom Champs on Saturday? I know lake Winnipesaukee will get realy high and back flow into Back Bay. I'm thinking we may be under water. Let me know and let Darlene know for posting on AWSAeast if necessary. Thanks Pat
  2. I skied 4 years on a 9500 and no brake down (Still have it as a backup). I had a 9800 for just over a year, it broke behind the rear binding. Got a 9900 with a $400.00 discount from Goode- had it for just over a year - it broke in front of the binding. Got another 9900 replacement with a $250.00 extended warranty payment to Goode (not a bad deal). Their customer service is not the greatest, but it is improving. The way I look at it, it is the best ski and I don't have the time to tinker with different skis. So I just say that Dave Goode is my crack dealer - I just can't live without it! I just hope this ski lasts because as Than said the jury is still out on the Nano.
  3. I do what Roger and Ben Favre do. I live on a lake where heads were exploding when I put in 55s. So I said it was not worth the trouble. The best advise I would give you in addition to pulling out when the right gate lines up with 5 ball is two things: 1. make sure you are starting (and seeing the five ball line up) from the same place (usually in the foam) and 2. make sure your driver is lined up straight with the course very early on. If you don't do these two things the 5 ball will be lining up at different places each time. I use this same method for all my line lengths.
  4. I'm in Massachusetts and my dealer is now a former dealer. They said they could get one and I never heard back. I have talked to Ramblin and they don't want to deal directly with me. Jody, if you do have access to Ramblin products I would gladly purchase it from you. Thanks
  5. Hey Than, its Pat. I had snaps with my 99 Nautique, but not with my 09. I proceeded to install them myself. The cover that came with the boat was lousy and replaced it with a cover from skiboatcovers.com. And then put snaps on that one. No questions snaps are the way to go. Let me know if can help you out with the install.
