I agree with lessons, that is what got me from 15' to starting 28's. I know I need to work on my gates, and have spent some days doing nothing but that. Anyone have any good drills for gates? Is there some way I could get a 2 gate practice on one pass?

 

I really like some aspects of the elite, but it may punish me to much when I'm not doing everything well. How does the strada or vice compare, what about the good fire?

I've had a great year on the water this year, and went from 15' off to working on 28' off. I picked up a used elite and loved it, but I seem to be pretty inconsistant on it. I do ski a few different lakes, and have taken that into account. Some days I can run nice 15's 22's and get a few at 28'. The next day my 15's are ugly and my 22's dont get past 3 or 5 ball. I really dont know what the issue is. I've never skied this inconsistant. Am I getting things right one day and then going back to bad habbits the next day?

 

I"m thinking about switching ski's, am on an elite now....any suggestions? I've always wanted to ski a goode, and the fire looks like a bargain, but also am hearing good things about the step bottom ski's, and also have thought about a strada or vice.....

Thanks Radar, made the call and had the parts I needed and a few spares waiting in the mailbox.

My strada bindings lower lace tensioner has come apart several times as I'm taking them off. The little catch piece will come out if pulled to hard. Seems as if they should throw an extra one in with each binding, since its going to get lost or break sometime. Let us know what you find for spair parts.

Been on a 67" sixam 2.0 for a year, and ready for something faster that turns easier. Borrowed a friends elite and really liked it, but he wont let me keep it. Looking on ski it again, and any place else.....would love some suggestions. Would even consider a goode fire, but havent heard anything about them on here or locally.

Just Baller in the same Font as Ball of spray, and as long as Horton is cool with it.

Thats a good looking boat, and thats one huge platform, but the backboard is a buzz kill.

I have thought for some time that MC has been complacent with their prostar series,  nothing new has come out of Vonore since 2002ish?  I wouldn't consider a bolt on to an existing hull as much in the way of R and D. 

 I'm really curious to see the new prostar, does anyone have any idea if it will be ready for production with the new model year 2012's? 

Ok, got the strada's and I am thinking the size is wrong.  I ordered my standard shoe size, and its way to short, feels like 1/2" to short on my big toe.  The shop I got them from says heat them and it should get better, but I dont see how they are going to grow that much.   There is plenty of room for my foot in the shell, but the liner by itself is where the problem is.  Anyone have them start out to short and stretch enough?  I dont really see how I could ski with them, they are pretty uncomfortable.   

I have ordered a set a strada's, they seem to be the most popular among the non hardshell bindings.  Any hints on setting them up? 

I have Animals and a set of front lace obriens, the animals cramp my feet, and the obriens dont fit my heel well, both are a double binding set up, which I prefer. 

 With the strada set up, do the liners stay in the bindings all the time, or do you put the liner on, then your foot in the binding? 

I'm in search of new bindings this year, and would like to hear what everyone is riding, and why. 

I have a set of them, they havent been on a ski yet.  I'm waiting on the next size, I have narrow ankles and they dont fit me well.  Other than that, they feel great, very comfy, the feather frame seems like a good idea.  I'm ready for the lake to thaw and see how they feel on the ski.

Anyone on the Radar Vector bindings?  I'm looking for new bindings and these cought my eye.
