  1. Indeed Mr. Lightfoot is really knocking it out of park these days......
  2. @Kelvin, is Daryn Dean still at the lakes of Katy? Daryn was at the co I still work at. Please tell Daryn hi for me if you see him and I hope he is skiing well... @andjules thanks.
  3. Perfect, that tournament webcast was the best delivery of content I have seen to date and what prompted my questions.. Awesome, thank you...
  4. Greetings, I am seeing some high quality webcasting, course video with skier and running order over the picture and wanted to ask if there is someone who might be able to offer a list of software and hdw components that are being used. Has someone written an application that will manage all the tournament "goings on's" with a number of tv output throughout the ski site? Is hard wire still the best backbone up and down the lake? Are lots of WAP's up and down the lake in use to get the audio and video out of the boat? Who has the best system and what is it made of for reasonable cost? Kind regards, N
  5. Wow glad your okay. after reading this I am hoping you can show us a pic of you heal. from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemotoxic Hemotoxins, haemotoxins or hematotoxins are toxins that destroy red blood cells (that is, cause hemolysis), disrupt blood clotting, and/or cause organ degeneration and generalized tissue damage. The term hemotoxin is to some degree a misnomer since toxins that damage the blood also damage other tissues. Injury from a hemotoxic agent is often very painful and can cause permanent damage and in severe cases death. Loss of an affected limb is possible even with prompt treatment. Hemotoxins are frequently employed by venomous animals, including vipers and pit vipers. Animal venoms contain enzymes and other proteins that are hemotoxic or neurotoxic or occasionally both (as in the Mojave Rattlesnake, the Japanese mamushi,[1] and similar species). In addition to killing the prey, part of the function of a hemotoxic venom for some animals is to aid digestion. The venom breaks down protein in the region of the bite, making prey easier to digest. The process by which a hemotoxin causes death is much slower than that of a neurotoxin. Snakes which envenomate a prey animal may have to track the prey as it flees. Typically, a mammalian prey item will stop fleeing not because of death, but due to shock caused by the venomous bite. Dependent upon species, size, location of bite and the amount of venom injected, symptoms in humans such as nausea, disorientation, and headache may be delayed for several hours. Hemotoxins are used in diagnostic studies of the coagulation system. Lupus anticoagulans is detected by changes in the dilute Russell's viper venom time (DRVVT), which is a laboratory assay based on—as its name indicates—venom of the Russell's viper.
  6. Oh @JWR so what you actually mean is keep the shoulders level and closed to the boat though the ramp. I hear ya and always looking at my cut to hopefully get that big jump when it counts. Lindsey we will have some fun in a few days. I think I just need to keep my faith and cut later.. Norm
  7. when you guys say "pull though the ramp" what exactly do you mean? I have heard this term allot and question if I know how to do this properly.
  8. Yes indeed Horton it is every bit of that and then some. Let's get a in-depth interview with her I want to know the details of how she takes down the MM and world competition both in Slalom and Jump. Way too cool to over look this season.
  9. Well I am a fan and hope to read a in-depth BOS interview with Regina in the near future.
  10. I really stand up and take notice when someone is the best in MM Slalom but then from time to time puts on jumpers and simply throws down. I wish more slalom skiers were like Regina. She is one awesome human being. I wounder how she trains to do this? Anyone know how she trains.

  14. On demand and Raise to the occasion with positive self talk and knowledge of preparation. This is Life folks. you either know you will go big or you doubt the outcome and crash pretty simple mind game. Nutrition preparation and a clear consistence of being in the moment. no expectation other then expectation itself will bring you down. release yourself and ski that way you know how. just let it rip and may the chips fall where they may and you will be happy. ;) Chow down and be happy....
