  1. Can anyone provide any info on this team? Have a daughter looking at colleges. Where do they train? Do they have access to a course all the time for training? Are they D1 or D2? Anything else worth noting? Thanks.
  2. I have a freshman daughter in high school. She wants to ski in college. Anyone have a list of conservative colleges that have ski teams? Thanks in advance.
  3. I tried resetting it. It can’t seem to slow the boat down. Couldn’t slow it down to 34.2 to set the baselines. Electronics seem fine.
  4. Help me diagnose my perfect pass problem. I have a 98 Malibu Echelon with a Monsoon engine. I have the most recent PP software and run zbox. It has always been super dialed in. I let the kids use the boat and one of them who drives ZO all the time was taking a tricker at 15'ish and after PP engaged he put the throttle all the way down as you can with ZO. The next time I used the boat two things happened: (1) to get to 34 I had to put the throttle all the way open when that would normally get you to high 40's; and (2) the PP beeps like it is engaged but can't regulate the speed now. Somehow the throttle issue seemed to resolve itself (it feels the same now as before). I did the servo test and it looks pretty tight but does shake at the end of tightening up (not sure if it did that before or not)...so maybe servo broke? My other thought was the extra spring I have on it may have gotten stretched out, but that I believe is there to get it to hit speed faster not get it there entirely. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  5. Hit send too soon. If so please post a pic or message me. Thanks.
  6. Has anyone made a rack for a bike to hold a trick or slalom ski while biking.
  7. You need new pipe insulation to keep it from sagging between the boat gateway and the skier buoy.
  8. Saw a 4’ snake by the dock in the water as my daughter skied there yesterday.
  9. Does anyone have the address for the off site practice lake at nationals? Have practice sets there tomorrow but not sure where it is. Thx.
  10. We are going to be staying in Marco island 3/13-3/20. Wondering how long the drive is to Eden to ski in the morning. I can google map it but kind of hard to know what traffic will be like. Anyone make that drive that would know? Thx.
  11. Used market is strong but I sold two 89 pro stars for around 7k each 10+ years ago. That said they do hold their value well once they hit a certain age.
  12. Actually I think mc was no wood in 87.
  13. Wood stringers are a bad idea in an old boat. I would avoid them at cost. Should factor in maintenance too. Going to have way fewer maintenance costs with a slightly newer boat. 91 and up MasterCraft or 94 up Malibu.
  14. A 91 or newer prostar 190 would be a way better boat than the Tristar. Way better. Or an 87-89 prostar is way better than a tristar. I owned two 89 prostars. Good boats that skied well. I still ski my friends 91 prostar and it has as good a wake as most new boats you will find but more spray.
  15. I gauge the success of a summer weekend by hours in the boat and how many gallons of gas I can burn in my now 22 year old boat that runs like a top on its all original engine. I like to see the innovation but like electric cars I won’t have one any time soon.
