  1. Does anyone know if there’s still a course on Green Lake in Wisconsin? I remember there used to be a public course there years ago but not sure if still there.
  2. That is awesome! I have a 2010 LXI also and would love to do this to my jump seat.
  3. "Negative, Ghost Rider, the course is blown out."
  4. Very nice boat, sir!
  5. Wow, hard to believe we've now blown past the $100k mark for a new ski boat. I'm starting to feel that buying a 1 year old promo boat for $40k a few years back was one of the best decisions of my life.
  6. Yeah seriously... I ended up buying the ski as a demo from Bennett's after she denied me for like $900 so at least I did save some cash!
  7. That was me a few years ago and I bought the ski anyway!
  8. Waiving the entrance fee for your first tournament might be enough to get more recreational skiers interested in joining and giving a tournament a try. As someone who skis recreationally on a public course myself, I have honestly never considered joining other than the possibility of someday trying a tournament. But throwing in that first tournament skiing experience for free might be just enough push some skiers need.
  9. I'm also NW of Chicago on the Fox River...there's a public course on the river near Johnsburg
  10. @XR6Hurricane what was the outcome of the meeting last night?
  11. Ha, I like how the "Ultimate" package comes with a ski boat. one stop shopping!
  12. I would definitely spend more on the boat. My 2010 LXI towed with a '96 Explorer...I'd say my priorities are about right.
  13. @xr6hurricane It looks like you ski on the Fox River. I ski with a group of people on a public course on the upper river. We are there usually every weekend...stop by anytime.
  14. Outback V is a wakeboad boat, right? A friend of mine has an Outback direct drive that he's owned for 10 years with no major mechanical issues so they can be reliable boats. Personally, I would go with a Malibu or Nautique that has a few years on it over a brand new Moomba.
