@thager Hahahaha, I was thinking more in lines of trading gas, money, beer, boat cleaning, driving, etc... But as bad as I want to ski Id be willing to change a diaper or two ;-)
Hello Ballers, I am going to be in Bakersfield this Saturday (6/28) and wanted to see if I can connect with anyone out at the ski lakes and squeeze in a set or two. More than happy to donate for gas and help out. Mike 949-614-3115
I have stayed there and absolutely loved it. The Trimble's are great people! World class ski site with world class accommodations. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone looking for a great ski vacation. My wife who doesnt ski flew up an met me here for that last couple days of the trip and she also agreed that this was the nicest ski site we have every been too. Its absolutely gorgeous.
For me.. I usually only get that sore the first set I take of the season. Im ruined for a week but after that I am set to go for the summer. If you ski regularly from here on out you should be fine. Always stretch before you ski and of course stay hydrated and eat good. All of these things will help for quicker muscle recovery and less chance of injury .
I bought the Radar Annex when Radar skis first came out and I believe the name was later changed to the vice as new models were rolled out the Vice? The 'Annex" I bought was advertised as the same Radar MPD (Mapple Edition Ski) but with different material used in the core. It was a great ski and an excellent buy compared to other high end skis.
smanski mentioend all 4 lakes in the memphis area. You can download the google earth app up above and check ech of these sites out. Some of these sites have multiple lakes to ski on.
are you back to 100%. Ive heard so many awful things about knee surgeries.. Im a little skeptical. I know its not a replacement and is an 'outpatient' procedure so its not horribly invasive.
So I just got the unfortunate news I tore the meniscus is my right knee requiring orthoscopic surgery. Dr. is estimating 6 weeks of recovery. Has anyone had this procedure done before and if so, how long did it take before you were skiing the course again?
Waterski Costa Rica is amazing. Ive been there twice and will be going back again this year to visit the Hornor's and Jim. Its near Arenal in a little town called Muelle.
Switched from a Radar to a 9900 and gained 5 buoys on my first set! I dont think there is a ski that is faster and gets wider through the course (for me anyways)...
I have a ski buddy in my club who has powershell 5's on a D3 and he absolutely loves em. Never heard one complaint. I run pwershell 5's too, but thats on my GOODE.
