  1. According to another website, ZO will come out with a PP emulator this Fall. So you will have A, B, C or D to choose from. Will have to wait and see. Still doesn't solve the dilemna of forking out big bucks for ZO boat/ZO equipment. And USA waterski wonders why the numbers are dwindling??????
  2. What about the new product Jager is developing for the older non-DBW boats? Looks promising and with the $95 rent before you own that might be a viable option, at least for us with the Gt-40 Nautiques. I would be interested to hear from someone who has actually used one.
  3. If I remember correctly, the MB 190 was the same mold as the 94 MC Prostar 190. They added a trunk at the back to make it a little different. As far as driveability, the 91-96 Ski Nautique drives better than the TSC model Nautiques IMO. The 94 MC was also a great boat that only had 1 downfall, spray was bad at -35 if any headwind at all. Other than that, one of the best boats ever (especially if LT-1 equipped). I will still take my 2000 SN over any of the newer boats. A great all around boat with a GT-40. nuff said
  4. Judging from the comments, Nautique would be well served to look at bringing back a "bare bones" boat ala the 176 or the 196 that was out for a year or two with no bells or whistles. Seems like no back seat, combing pads or padded motor cover if I remember correctly. For competition lakes the 176 would be a great boat IMO. I think there is enough difference that a 176 wouldn't cut into the 200 sales all that much. However, much more profit in a 200 than a bare bones 176 and if you are building all that you can, sell what makes you the most.
  5. For my money, the 97-01 TSC1 was/is the best all around hull. GT-40 in those boats is a fantastic motor. However, if you want ZO you will have to go newer and more $. The new PP add-on that Jager is working on might be an option for the older boats (if you need to emulate ZO). Looks like it might bridge the gap between ZO and PP. My .02
