  1. I bought a Sydicate A2 last season that came with EXO's , my question is to anyone that had / skied them did they have removable insoles in them ? I have been skiing since without them if so and not sure I even need them. I came from D3 leverages and find these super comfy regardless. Any insight is appreciated.
  2. @MillerTime38 makes total sense to me , two Brits and a Canadian all used to skiing in adverse conditions AND cold temps. I have watched and can totally see some "disastrous" results for some of the top pro's. Like the pro's they are, I doubt you will hear any complaints from them.
  3. @DW I doubt HO will warranty it is now with the release of the 2018's 6 model years old. @Horton this is the first season of use with only about 10 sets on it in salt water , my old Iconn Sonic C-6 held up to over 10 seasons and no issues . My fins and inserts never corrode, so this was the first time I had seen corrosion on any component. Hence the reason for the surprise , I will continue to use the fresh water rinsing and hope it does not get worse. Thanks to you both.
  4. Ok so I am not a metallurgist by any means however I was under the impression that anodizing aluminum was done to 1) make aluminum parts "pretty" and 2) make them less susceptible to corrosion . I unlike most on this forum do not have the luxury of skiing in fresh water , I ski in brackish water (fresh water river running into salt water tidal estuary) . I have always rinsed my gear after every ride and never had an issue with aluminum until NOW. I LOVE my HO A2 and treat it like a baby , my concern is after just one season in salt water corrosion has started to appear on the fin block and will only get worse. I am looking for advice on how to prevent it without harming the ski (is there anything I can spray on it other than water to counteract the salt without damage to the ski's finish? @savaiusini ) I am afraid it will not look "pretty" for

long. For comparison my natural aluminum fin block on my old Iconn ski still looks as new. PLEASE HELP!

  5. @Canuck44 if you think being a Canadian skier is hard to get gear in WESTERN Canada you want to try living in Prince Edward Island! That being said I have had great luck between SKI-IT-AGAIN and on this forum. My SYNDICATE A2 came from ski-it-again and @savaiusini was a wealth of information in questions I had before buying. Good luck and please report back with your review on the ski.

  6. Ski mount is the WORST ... as others stated a chesty is a good option , if you don't have one already you may want to put a GOPRO Floaty on it ... but it sounds like you have the session which I am not sure they make one for it. Drone is the next step you will want to make but if that is the case you could of just bought a drone with a camera already. I have a lot of fun with ours making season long videos of our ski sessions. Windows movie maker is the easiest to use editing software in my opinion and is a free plug in. Good luck.
  7. Further to my above post I don't want to seem negative towards the HO/Syndicate brand ... when I had questions last year a simple call and I was receiving purchase advice on a 2012 HO A2 from @savaiusini ... that is worth more than being able to rep the brand to me.

  8. @Jrbeeks @Kdinger838 HO (Syndicate) a great product ... I have skied a lot of others however I suspected finding brand product would of been much easier than it has turned out to be , as you stated Kdinger the logistics of shipping a product and having it cost me twice the MSRP to do so is hard to swallow. I should of bought the hoodies for 20 bucks with 10 dollars shipping when I saw them on SIA. Swerve on !
