  1. Nothing to do with the release, although the release does nearly set on top of big toe and I worry when it does release I may break my toe. It seems to be shaped a little different then the old one. The top of the boot, where your ankle is at, allows you to tilt/lean /shift, back past 90 degrees. They have two black stoppers but they don't stop the top cuff of boot until you are way past 90 degrees. Apparently I rock back and away at end of turn and I need some support like you would have in a snow ski boot. Skied with Adam cord couple weeks ago, he had a metal bar permently attached between boot and cuff angled forward,
  2. I have rotated back boot, but I have always had it rotated. I have about 15 set on it now and I am struggling make my opening pass. I really think it leans back too far. I have tried contacting reflex but no reply. Trying to figure out a way to put larger stoppers on side of boot.
  3. Just purchased new super shell, I have been on a reflex over 10 years. Currently skiing on a 68inch HO VTR. Put supershell on same position as old boot, turned like tank on side off side not great. Boots so close together the metal an release touching back big toe, felt like if I ejected I would hurt back toe. Moved supershell forward little better I have moved both back both forward. Tried moving fin forward a bit then I felt like water grabbing my front foot. It seems supershell will lean back too far and too easy. There are stoppers on both sides of boot but I think they should be larger. I would really appreciate any suggestions.
  4. Knox sensor looks like the first picture. Our boat has a closed cooling system so we did not take them out when we winterized. I pulled both connectors off and cleaned with some contact cleaner. Any great way to test sensor. Also I would think if sensor faulty it would continually give error code.
  5. I have a 2007 Nautique PCM Magnum330 every time at 34.2 mph by 3 or 4 ball engine light comes on and screen reads knox sensor see dealer, goes out when you throttle down. Boat seems to be running ok. With zero off off I can run up and down lake at full throttle, light never comes on. Also pulled neighbor at 32 light never came on. Spoke with a guy from local marine he said that indicated sensor was bad, and it was intermittent. But every time at the exact same place in course is not intermittent. He thought but did not seem sure that once light goes on you have to reset code, but light is not always on. Any thoughts. Thanks
  6. Flying home from Nationals, I arrived with no ski. A day later picked ski up at airport, found ski bag damage and ski broke just in front of fin box. I just received check for full new value of ski and bag repair. I did have to jump through a few hoops, but all in all Delta did step up and take care of me, it just took a while.
  7. Skied Hidden Pass this Independence Holiday. What a great site. Two days of great skiing with a lot of new friends. I would highly recommend this site for anyone wanting a well ran tournament on a great site. Very wind protected. Close to a lot of fun things to do. Drug my family there, an 8 hour drive, now they can't wait to go back. Plus I skied well.
  8. Brian skis here occasionally, but travels a lot for work. Tom & Chuck are about 30 miles north of me. They have a really nice private lake just outside of Angola, IN. I ski there occasionally when my work takes me that way. I have a lot of skiers that ski once or twice a year with me, but I am looking for someone that I can count on regularly, would be really nice if they could drive great, brought some gas, were really good at coaching, would be willing to stick head under water to help adjust bouys, and last but not least stick around after skiing and drink a few beers. Anyone know that person. Thanks

  9. I thought the idea of senior Tour was to give the guys, 50 or at least 45 years old, that are not making the finals, a reason to continue skiing the Big Dawgs. I don't think any of us feels a guy under 40 is a Senior. At 35 you have a lot of years to shoot for the Finals. 50 your starting to think maybe its a waste of time. Ok not a waste of time. My shoulders hurt my elbows hurt my back hurts, whose this kid 35 thinking hes a Senior and why are all these guys running 39.

  10. I purchased a beanie cap and tried it out last weekend. It was a little loose and felt like it may come off, but was warm. I put a shoe string through one of the holes in the back of cap snaked it through and around cap and out the other side of cap. Took maybe ten minutes. I used a spring loaded tightner, for adjusting string. It worked great.
