I have a ‘21 prostar with a 6.2

The pull is absolutely amazing. Not sure why they always use the 6.0 in tournaments for slalom. I ski both and love the 6.2. I feel like it doesn’t work as hard to keep rpm’s than the 6.0.

Nautique is awful at 22 and 28 off. Gets better from there but nothing compared to the prostar wake.

I completely understand that, but it’s completely different from carbon fiber.

Also curious about construction. Graphite seems like a step backwards from all other high end skis. Especially for the price.

Anyone riding the new KD Titanium.

I know Horton reviewed it in the Fall but I was curious on others thoughts.

It’s my understanding that 10 and 12 boots work with reflex 10 and 12 plate. But if you have an odd size, you’ll have to buy radar plate that is drilled for reflex release.

Voile CRB telemark binding is awfully similar. I had a set years ago.

I asked brooks that same question at nationals. He said smaller sizes might be available next year but not this year.

I felt sorry for my son. And many other B1 kids. It was his first nationals. The wind was stiff down the lake with occasional gusts enough to rip canvas off of peoples tents. He didn’t run his opener and said he couldn’t even see the buoys.

He had a good attitude but I was crushed for him.

The boots are solid. I tried them on at nationals and they felt amazing. This think is going to be a game changer. The rigidity of the hard shell base but the flexibility you need in the cuff. I’ll be running them with the reflex release and I’ll try the hybrid rear by taking the cuff off if I can get my boot close enough.

The BOA is super beefed up compared to previous carbitex boots.

The amazing thing is the bottom is so flat and wide that the connection to the ski is unmatched.

I’m running 32off occasionally. Couple at 35 off.

But I know two pro men that have run 41 on the fin a lot.

I totally agree. I’m on the NRG R2 and rode the stock fin for 6 or so sets. Then put the WF pro on and Wow! I felt the exact same as @KRoundy. It’s definitely an improvement.

If the Adam’s would get the large c85 done I’m going to give that a go as well.
