  1. Just watch out for the fins on the axle(deeper V than 200) and you’re good ??
  2. I bet Jody! ?
  3. I’ve been using one since my buddy Scott Rabeneau put his arm through the handle 20+ years ago. The new ones are great! Good, cheap, insurance ????
  4. The 176 hull has a crazy good slalom wake, it’s how CC came up with the tsc hull in 1997.
  5. If CC could bring back the carbon pro, tweak it so it drives better, 60k price point think it would be a good seller?
  6. I thought it was awesome! A little more bandwidth might help. Agree on running orders and leaderboard. Love the announcers, Tony does a great job, fun to listen to ???? Glad I chipped in too ?
  7. I’ve had more than a few pre releases on powershells. Even tho I replaced the interlock frequently. One gave me a mild concussion. Nothing worse than committing to your lean through the wake and feel the front binding separate!! Switched to the Goode reflex and no pre release, just when needed. Very interested in the new reflex ?
  8. Most of us really like to drive! It’s fun when you’re in sync with the skier and you know he got a great ride. The different feedbacks from different boats make it fun, some more fun than others. That said, for training, having the ability to have anyone drive is pretty intriguing. Having the ability to dial the boat in for a little extra swerve on your hardest pass, then the ability to tighten it up a little at a time might be pretty cool! ?
  9. I’ve been running the Goode reflex front. Just got tired of the interlock of the powershells, pre releasing, changing out the tape every season etc. The Goode reflex has a good feel, stays locked down nice, and releases when needed. Drawbacks: I had to replace the release with the reflex 840 straight stainless release as the old one rusted and seemed to flex more. The Goode boot cuff at the hinge wears/hogs out, causing too much side to side movement. The only fix for that, I had to buy a whole new boot at the 2 year mark. Running an old d3 leverage rear, super loose with a light coat of cocoa butter inside the tongue and heel for easy release. I’m super interested in the new Venom rear boot to go with it!
  10. Looks like a “wrong way turn”. This will knock into last week for sure! I’ve only had a couple skis do that over the years, first time was at mike Suyderhoud ski school in the early 80’s. Some skis will do it if you try running them without a wing or not enough wing. As the ski slows down, instead of the tip engaging and starting to turn left back towards the boat, it continues outbound without the turn in, and it body slams you. Last ski that did that to me, spooked me from keeping it. Also a little more core off the second wake will help the keep the upper body up. :)
  11. Another great coach is Matt Rini if you’re in the Orlando area ??
  12. Having sold ski nautiques from 1990 to 2007. RH props on nautiques lift the boat on the drivers side. Designed that way so the observer slides toward the driver to balance. Having also sold centurion from 88-2007. LH props, sometimes you can’t slide far enough to the passenger side to balance. Kudo’s to mc for the ballast under the passenger seat to correct this. My ‘19 SN rides flat, my neighbors promo SN rides flat, I’ve ridden in 2 others, and skied behind 3 others that also ride flat. And that’s all I know about that(forest gump). ✌️
  13. One zero off item that might be of interest. I normally ski b2. I was skiing with Michael McCormick, he suggested with the 6.2 I outta try a2. Skeptical, I thought what the heck. Much better pull imho, a microsecond softer out of the turn, same nice zing from whitewater to center. I’m sold, at least this last month anyways ???
  14. Love my new sn! The more you drive it the better it gets. At the tourneys up in the pnw, 80% posted better scores behind it with quite a few area records broken. 32,35,38 wakes are pretty hard to beat. Nice job mc on the new boat too! Looking forward to skiing behind it ?
  15. Very stretchy ropes, no choice on the dock ✌️
  16. One of the toughest guys I know, see ya in Acapulco this fall amigo! ?????
  17. Ski Paradise Acapulco! Amazing made from scratch meals, the villa has some of the most amazing views and sunsets, awesome restaurants, and the ski site is great with lunches on site. Great boat drivers, 6 days of skiing, great coaches, and a great place to work on your skiing! Everything is taken care of, all you need to do is have fun. Weather is 83-88 degrees every day from October to May. A GREAT place to go in the winter. Super safe location in the nicest part of Acapulco. One of the best waterski vacations and a must do at least once!
  18. Still on sale, just ordered a 3/4 pro! ?
  19. Been running ML 13” bent for years. I usually just replace them every two years. Never had a problem ???
  20. Awesome coaching and great place to ski!!
  21. We used to cut a small v on the trailing edge to relieve pressure build up ??
  22. Here you go RAK ps this is for a 2019 SN
  23. 6’2” 192lbs on the large, love it!! I had to tone it down a little as it was finishing too hard, but has excellent speed off the wake ?. I have a couple friends the weigh 250+, they’d love to buy one. Any plans for an XL??!!
