  1. For state, regionals, and nationals, a driver should qualify basted on tournaments they have driven that year. It should be a privilege to drive the higher level events.

I have had assistant drivers steer better that a senior.

  2. I believe that when I practice all summer and ski an event, that I want to ski my best and all competitors to do the same. With ZO, it has taken part of the human factor out but still leaves how to manage the wheel. I would expect if I had a senior driver, I have the eliminated one reason for me not to preform at my best.

To be a good driver , like skiing you need to practice. If you have not been practicing pulling a skier short line than how can you expect to be a good driver? Just because you have been a senior driver since before perfect pass and you pulled Dick Pope Jr. doesn't make you a good driver today.

I appreciate all the years of dedication and current involvement, but some drivers before they offer to get in the boat they need to ask themselves am I prepared to give every skier an opportunity to ski a PB?

This does not apply to all seniors!

  3. Londonskier,

I have been afraid since I released the first time. I kept saying I was going to use something else, but never did anything about it. Bindings are cheap compared to what an injury will cost you. I can't work for 3 months. That $500 reflex doesn't sound that expensive. And I'm not having a lot of fun right now on the couch!

  4. Unwanted release injuries. 3 broke ribs, concussion, and sprained MCL in a three year period.

Two weeks ago after replacing dual loc the ski stopped at 5 ball. I went out the front, binding didn't release causing a 90% achellies tendon tear and a non displaced ankle fracture!

Surgery. No walking for 2 months. Then rehab. Maybe 100% in 6 months!

  5. Return Powershell!! You will be a crash test dummy until you have enought tape to keep binding on ski. When you get that figured out then you my have put to much on and it will not release when you need it to. Every time it releases the dual loc loses strength. When you put plate to ski you don't know if its together unless you ski.

    Result achellies tendon tear...

  6. Is there any reason I can't put inserts in my Nano? Is the construction different than the 9960?

I have the rest of summer and all winter to recover from the Powershell injury. With inserts I have more binding choices.

  7. 4 years 4 injurys. Concussion, broke ribs, strained mcl. Unexpected release. The last one makes me a spectator for the rest of the year. Torn Achellies and broke ankle when it did not release.

Done with that binding! What do I put on my nano now?

  8. I've got my hands on 3 nano twist. Not all mine. One used one season. The other two, very few sets. Does anyone in Orlando have a flex machine to compare the three skies. I'm courious if they brake down and the consistency of the two newer skies?

Has anyone tested out of the box Goode skies?

  9. I have seen skiers that look like they couldn't do a single pull up. Put them on a ski and they are light, efficient, and strong. Juicing up and looking like a gorilla I think is no help. Seems like the lighter skier make it look effortless. Isn't the goal to be light and fast on the ski?
  10. Kyle is recovering from having a pacemaker this morning. A week before Regionals he passed out sitting in a meeting and was rushed to the hospital. After a battery of test, a pacemaker was needed. He postponed the procedure until after the Big Dawg Finals.

What can he do with a good ticker?
