  1. Nice work JMAC! I think he's going to take 41 down this year!
  2. Call Perfect Pass. They are great people and told me they can do the pucks for you at a MUCH better price. Their customer service is second to none. ZO customer service is just plain none.
  3. Great thread. I was thinking of doing a quick trip to FLA next month as well to kick start the season. Usually go to Rinis but the family wants to do Gulf coast trip. So just to confirm no real skiing between Eden and McCormicks? I seem to remember something around Sarasota??? We have a access to a friends condo in that area.
  4. @spicoli I sent you a message. Have a look. Rob
  5. Here in eastern Ontario Canada we pulled ours last week. Water was still around 60 but the weather switch was flipped last week. Pulled the boat yesterday and going to do the lift tomorrow. It's been going just below freezing at night and the water temps are plummeting. Fall is tough skiing for us as the wind is a huge challenge so time to pack her in. The next skiing we do will be in Orlando in a month! Looking forward to it.
  6. Congrats! He finally gets one! Great to see more strong skiing from this side of the border.
  7. Nice! And still rocking the 16 Vapor too.......who needs the 17 anyway.
  8. Wow, no messing around. Nice boat!
  9. @eddie_roberts_jr so is the shape for the 2017 vapor the same as the 2016 or has it been tweaked?
  10. Wow that's crazy. How did the driver of the jetski make out?
  11. @Texas6 and I must have been typing at the same time, haha. I like they way he thinks!
  12. Looks like Paige Rini won the US Jr. Open on the new ski!
  13. IMHO I don't think you are too far from running it. A little higher on your gate is key then you need to start your edge change earlier on both sides. The key for me at 32 is carrying the handle with you to keep your outbound direction and speed. Every couple of weeks I start to have trouble with my 32's and realize that almost everytime I wasn't keeping that handle in during the edge change. (Elbows pinned to your vest). Once I realize that and make the conscious effort 32 starts to get easier again even when I make mistakes during the run which is almost every run! Also on your off side I think you aren't letting the ski finish the turn. If you have carried the handle out and are free of the boat, reach high and be patient as comes around look down course not across to the next buoy. Ski your hips to the handle.
  14. @Andre that sucks. Hopefully not as bad as you think. Speedy recovery. What bindings were you on?
  15. Well the fix for your friends issue is pretty simple. Have him order this from skidim and just clamp it on the cable just under the dash and tighten slowly until the friction is enough to hold the throttle from moving. http://www.skidim.com/CABLE-BRAKE-THROTTLE/productinfo/MOR044386/ Worked like a charm on a 93 MC 205 that I used to have. Not sure about too much throttle friction on your boat though. Maybe you need a need throttle cable. If it's similar to a steering cable replacement it isn't very difficult.
  16. Great discussion. If you look at the stick figures above and the two shots of the skier you will notice that in order to get your com forward you HAVE to bend at your ankles. i always tell people to bend their ankles not their knees. It forces you to get your hips forward. Stack is important, but it's how you get stacked that really makes you efficient and quick.
  17. Was it hydroturf? www.hydroturf.com
  18. I break out my old Jobe trick ski and try to do some of the stuff I did when I was 15. (Same ski btw). It's fun and my kids love to see dear old dad falling on his a$$ over and over. It really does help with your form though. You gotta stay stacked on that beast and it's a nice break from my ridulous obsession of going around the orange balls again and again. I can do about 80% of my old hand pass which I think is pretty good considering I only trick about 3 times a year. Most important though is that I am still out on the water just having fun.
  19. @Fast351. Hmmm that could be. Seems to be getting better each day. I thought maybe it was a fuel problem after the boat sat waiting for the ECM. Thanks for the input.
  20. I agree with @Andre do it yourself. I did mine 5 years ago and it ran perfect ever since.
  21. Well we got the ECM back from the dealer and installed it in the boat. ZO now works great BUT the boat runs rough. Seems to miss and cough quite a bit after the reflash. Could something have been changed when they did the reflash? @Jody_Seal
  22. I need to replace my front liner as well. I noticed that Goode has their version made by intution for $80 each. They are available in two thicknesses, regular and thin. I guess the thin version is not the standard inutition thickness? Anyone have experience with the two?
  23. @LeonL I agree I have never seen another ZO default to B3 either but strangely this one does. I also noticed that when I set myself up as a skier in the system at a certain setting, it doesn't automatically go to that setting when I select myself as the current skier. Is this normal? Shouldn't it remember my setting if I pick myself as the current skier?
