Cheers all. Im just waiting for the prices on the 2014 radar skis. I think i will have to get a quest form ozzy if i go that way.

so a higher end ski should be better no matter skier level?

radar have a new wake jump play type ski coming out too. like a short fat play ski. looks pretty cool.

What im getting at is, am i better off on a softer flex of the vice or go for a strada, quest etc. Im happy to spend less but will pay more if its going to be a decent advantage.

Shown the 2014 radar ski catalog yesterday while talking to dealer about ordering my new ski and they look very different from 2013's. Very cool design and looks. I was looking at a vice, carbon vice or may look at a starda or d3 quest but im not sure i'm at that level yet. This season(New Zealand) was my first go at the course and progressed from only just getting through at 46 km(28mph) to running 6 at 55kph twice in my very last set for the season. So i decided to sell my senate (69") as i still have a year to go at 58kph before turning 35 and get a more higher end ski but am I best to buy top of the line or more like a vice level ski? Im 6 foot 209lbs. Cheers for any advice.

im a size 10 to 11 and use std vector and found it on the loose side, i have slim feet. The 2014 radars look sweet and will probably be getting one. just got off a 69 senate im 95kg and just skiing 6 at 55 so looking into 58 next season.(NZ)

i find i get a sore rear foot from trying to use my toes to grip into the foot bed. I have tried to stop but its a bad habit.

i have never seen anything to say they have changed. I have a 2010 and it looks the same as a 2013.

i learnt both feet in when i was about 10 or so. then got to fat and boat got tired and had to learn one foot out, glad i did as its so much easier on the body. @doonez i had trouble with my hammy with both feet in. lol.

i really like the 2012 vice. not so much the new one and not at all the vice c. i havn't seen the vice c in the flesh tho.

No not this year. This is my first season and its bit far to travel when im only getting into 55kph some times. hope to next year tho.
