  1. Free skiing and watching my boat jump up out the water after hitting a submerged stump, rudder crushed up into the boat, wifey was driving made it back to me, & I drove the boat full throttle about 100 yards up on the side bank of the lake to save it from sinking, it was labor day & I had quite the interesting afternoon, McGyvering the boat back on my trailer with the help of a buddy, towing me in with electric water pumps rolling !
  2. A summer to forget, broken ankle in May, coming off my best season in 2012 with tornament PB, qualified for nationals in Mens IV, bought newer upgrade boat for 2013, only to sit on the sidelines all the way through, have hope for the big come back in 2014 :)
  3. The critical piece of the puzzle is "getting in" that optimum position out wide on the gate with body squared, with the handle low and attached (end result). We all know that is No easy task at your toughest pass. Any thoughts on what everyone is thinking in that edge out phase on the gates to maintain low handle connection, speed, stacked body position, tight line, etc before there gate turn in. Once you are out there ready to go, whatever body position you have is going to normally be maintained throughout the entire pass.
  4. Have a badly sprained ankle no from running into the turn buoy. Have had several over the years but this time a tendon slid out from underneath the ankle bone. Has anyone had this happen with your sprained ankle ? Will the tendon stay in place after the ankle heals while skiing ? I have had the ankle X-Rayed, no broken bones, but have been reading up on peroneal tendon subluxation and hoping that surgery is not in the horizon to repair the sheath that holds the tendon in place under the ankle. Thank you
