  1. Thanks guys!! Zero Off (jump mode) uses the Perfect Pass rope switch. The cable I need has a ZO (Delphi) connector on one end and PP (Molex) connector on the other end. ZO has a shipping date of July 22. I got one today from one of the local promo boat guys. Jody I did rig one up as you suggested. Thanks Tom Dusin
  2. I need a ZO rope switch adapter cable. If you have one or know where I can get one please let me know. I ordered one from the ZO website but I don’t know if or when it will arrive. I have connectors and can jury rig one if needed but would prefer the genuine part. Tom Dusin

  4. I sent 7 spare pucks to PP to have them updated. They could only update 4 out of the 7, the ones that could not accept the update were new but had an outdated hardware configuration. No correlation with serial number or appearance as to which ones were able to accept the update. Some have Garmin placards and some have ZO placards. The pucks that are not updated still work but are slow to align and do not have many satellites in view. The gps satellite constellation has both new and old satellites flying around up there in geosynchronous orbits. Old pucks only see old satellites, My theory has been to collect orphan pucks and to keep running the dual puck setup as long as possible. The system works fine with the old pucks after the initial startup which can take up to 10 minutes depending on the day. It can be a little exciting when I back out, put a skier on the platform, they jump in and we take off still not locked in with gps. So far it always seems to hook up before we get to the slalom course. Updated pucks lock in to alignment right away, 10-15 seconds on most days. PP did not charge to check // update the pucks, I.E. really good customer service. Shipping to Canada was $28. each direction.

What makes you think you might have a timing problem?

  8. Talk to Darren at Wiley’s Bindings, he makes most plates for all types of bindings. He will get you going with something semi custom if that’s what it takes. 6061 is tough to work with, I would use 2024 T3 .080” if Darren can’t help
  9. I have a 2003 Infinity Zx-1 excellent condition, reasonably priced, delivery possible. PM for pictures and details.
  10. I had about 120 sets on the one that broke yeasterday.....ouch. About a year old. My new handle went to the bottom ...bummer.
  11. Post #21 says spark to all cylinders. Time to check compression for leaky rings, valves or head gasket. This engine is throttle body injection, not individual injectors.
  12. I think you are on the right track looking at the pickup coil (donut) in the distributor. I have a 2003 boat with PCM 5.7 TBI and have replaced the coil 5-6 times in 15 years. For troubleshooting I have a new distributor from the auto parts store that I drop in, if the boat runs I order a OEM PCM distributor from ski dim and keep the auto parts handy. You can buy just the pickup coil but trying to change it never works out well for me and I end up getting a new distributor anyway. TomD
  13. The original idea for the shock tube was to span the distance from the top of the pylon to the windshield. That distance is about 4 feet in the big 3 modern ski boats. Thinking was to keep that loop of rope out of the driver and passenger seat area. The 2 foot shock tube came about with the rope switch and half meter rope that connected the rope switch to the pylon when we were using perfect pass. I don’t understand how the short tube offers much protection.
  14. Matt, what kind of inflatable lift is that
