  1. Hello everyone, We put in a new instaslalom course yesterday. It seems that a couple of the arms are floating and the gate buoys do not have tension. Main line is tight and the course is straight otherwise. Currently it is on our 2/5 ball. Initially we noted it on 3 ball and it was like the arm was floating. We actually replaced the first part of the arm with an arm from our old course and it sunk down just fine. Has anyone come across this? Eric
  2. I've skied behind this boat a few times. It is a great boat and skis really well. I had heard that the earlier MBs had issue with spray, but I didn't notice it at 32 off. The 22 off bump is much better then my 2012 TXi, and I know the owner is meticulous with care and maintenance.
  3. Thanks everyone. I sent a request under the promo directory. Santangelo, I don't think I will be making it down to Florida anytime soon, but thanks for the offer.
  4. Hey Guys, Any MN ballers skiing behind a Carbon pro? I am considering switching from a 2012 Txi to a Carbon Pro. However, I have never skied behind a CP and would love to try one before I make any decisions. Thanks, Eric
  5. Never mind... No way it will work. ECI bracket may work, but I'm just going to send it back.
  6. I bought a 2012 TXI from a dealer in Michigan and he also sold me a used boom, but said he would send me the bracket. I got the bracket today and it is a BI bracket and the boom is a spray marine inc. I never looked at the boom until the bracket came. I wasn't familiar with spray and thought the boom was probably an ECI. Has anyone made a BI bracket work on a Spray boom? He said he would take it back if it won't work and give me my $300 back.
  7. Here is the video... Warning that if you watch with sound on the sounds I make are not so pleasant. My ski buddies did an awesome job getting back to me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwTaRF7qj1c&feature=youtu.be
  8. Just one bad one for me. Broken Jaw in 2014. Jaw wired shut for 6 weeks and rubber bands for 2 weeks after that. Hit by the handle.
  9. I just bought a new boat and it has made waiting for summer even harder. Heading out to Mammoth in a couple weeks and now I am wishing I was heading somewhere warm.
  10. My buddy and I ski on Rush lake just outside of clear lake (about 45 minutes from the west side of the cities). He has been putting a course in for about 30 years. It is a public lake, but there are very few boats on the lake. There are 3 lakes and Rush is the smallest so the big boats and jet skis go to the bigger lakes. We are always looking for people to ski with. My buddy would ski every night if he had someone to ski with. My schedule is a bit all over the place. He has a 2002 response and I just bought a 2012 TXI.
  11. I had issues on my macbook air, but took the advice of someone else on here and adjusted my cookies settings. 10.9.5 and Safari.
  12. Thanks guys! Doing ok... Jaw will be wired shut for 6 to 8 weeks and they put one plate. Pain isn't to bad, still bleeding, which is annoying. I'm an ICU nurse and just didn't want to get sent there last nite:). They were concerned about my airway because of the swelling. Hoping they will let me work with the wired jaw. For everyone else who has injuries, get better soon!
  13. This will be my first post. Today we were skiing and I came around, I believe, 3 and got bent forward as well as slack. From that point I am not sure what happened, but from the video I think the handle got pulled out of my hands and hit me in the face. This equaled a broken jaw in two spots and knocked me out for a bit. Surgery should be tomorrow. It could have been worse and I will be investing in an in tow head safety thing( not sure what they call it). By the way I was at 32 off at 34mph. Any one else ending there season short due to injury?
  14. It's been a tough summer in MN as well. We lost all of June due to no wakes. Water temp has a chill, but that doesn't bother me. What does is the fact that next month and for sure October it will be back to the full wetsuit and a bucket of warm water to put my feet in when we are done skiing. It's frustrating when the season is so short as it is.
