  1. Thanks for the responses guys. Does anyone know how they compare in terms of lateral support when compared to the radars and ho's?
  2. @Horton I know you unboxed these a while ago. Have you gotten a chance to try them out?
  3. Does anyone have any experience with these bindings? I'm interested as to how they compare to other similar boots on the market like the vapors and v-max. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, FrankS
  4. Has anyone tried the prodigy bindings? I'm looking for some new bindings and I can get some on SIA for really cheap. I'd like to know how they compare to the vapor boot which would be my choice if I weren't a broke college student.
  5. Does anyone know where I can find the stock fin and binding numbers for a 68 v-type?
  6. There's also a V type that would be another option. Thanks Frank
  7. Hey Ballers, I am a collegiate skier looking to get on a new ski and I am going back and forth between a D3 Helix H2 and a Quest 45 that I found on SIA. Currently I can run the course at 30 and 32 mph -15 and I am hoping to put in some work and improve this summer. I am currently skiing on my dad's old HO system 8. If any of you have ridden either or both of these skis and could give me some pros/cons it would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Frank
  8. Awesome Video. Some great camera angles and that site looks sweet.
  9. Hi guys, I've been tricking a lot lately and the reverse back wrap is really giving me problems. I can do a standard back wrap and reverse back turning my whole body around with no problem, but I can seem to get around on the reverse backwrap. I feel like learning one would make by back to backs and reverse wake backs faster and/or easier. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Frank
  10. I think the CX is a traditional narrower ski while the TX is more of a wide ride ski probably designed for slower speeds. I would guess that the TX evolved from the HO triumph which was a pretty popular intermediate ski.
  11. Does anyone know anything about that revo rebel z from my last comment? I know a releasable hardshell is my best option, but I'm not really able to spend that much money right now (I'm a college student). Also if anyone has an old hardshell set up (even just the release mechanism) they are wanting to sell, I might be interested.
  12. How about something like this? http://fluid-motion-sports-2.myshopify.com/collections/revo/products/revo-rebel-z I'm pretty sure it releases similar to a radar boot with the liner coming out but I'm not sure if the lack of buckles significantly reduces the support of the binding.
  13. Thanks. Is it safe to trick with the non-releasable hardshell?
  14. I finally bought the trick ski I have been wanting for years and now I am deciding on bindings. The reflex is a bit pricey for me so for a while I had pretty much decided on a Wiley trick wrap until I looked at the fluid motion website. They have a few options that would be in my price range because they don't have external release systems. The REVO rebel Z is only $169 but it is completely lace up without any buckles. The REVO direct to plate system is a little more expensive but has buckles (a few options for the number of buckles) and their website says that it is made for trick skiing. The EVO front boot system would also be in my price range. Are any of these good options or should I just stick with a Wiley?
