  1. Cool concept!  Thx.   I bet a couple of videos showing how the handle reacts to potentially “hooking” a skier could put that idea to bed.  Maybe tow the rope around a dock post or something to see if it catches or just deflects off.  I’m betting it just quickly deflects off.  If so I could be “hooked” on the concept 🙂

  2. I had same thoughts. I ran a 67” stock and didn’t care for it. Went one hole forward and it was too sensitive and couldn’t keep it under me. Purchased g10 plate with microadjust over the winter and moved binding forward 1/16”. Lights out! Added 5 bouys and got into -38 for 1st time ever. I almost gave up and sent it down the road. Was on 2018 pro build before. Good luck.
  3. If you do get the 22, don’t sell ur 19 right away. I’m at a similar level to you -22 to -35 @ 34 mph and can’t figure out my new 22 senate. I’m down 1/2 a pass with it. I cannot seem to get the angle with it. Stock binding position is further back on 22 than the 19. I picked up a mono plate over the winter with microjust hoping I can dial it in. If not is going up for sale. Just my $0.02.
  4. 5.7L no warning just hatched. Wife was driving and just had a flowy pass. Boat died and didn’t get to finish my set. 1500 hours. I replaced rotor and cap with Napa ones. I did not know about an aluminum one. I wished I did. New one looks as cheap as the old. Way better outcome than I figured. Boat runs flawless again. 200’s just rock!
  5. Ok gurus. I’m looking for some help. My 200 shut down this morning and won’t restart. Running flawless then just stopped at 34 mph. Has oil, appears to have fuel pressure on fuel rail, lanyard in tact, has gas. I’m speculating an electrical issue? After work I plan to pull plugs and investigate and look for spark, check compression. Any other ideas? No codes were set on diagnostic screen initially. After trying to start a few times a low oil pressure code set.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions or ideas you may have.

  6. I’m looking for some tips on how to replace steering cable on my 200. I’ve never done one on this boat and am unsure on whether the gas tank has to come out or how the rear floor panel comes free. If the tank has to come out, how do the brackets release? There just isn’t quite enough room to access rudder bolt. Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

  7. I personally would like to see someone try a carpet to sea dek conversion on a 200. If someone went through the effort and made templates, I’m guessing there would be a market for a kit. I personally would be interested. Does anybody know if under the carpet is white gel coat? I’m sure it would be a ton of work to clean up glue. I’m guessing it could be done though.
  8. I did end up going with the stokes evo for this season. Worked great! No rib injuries. Snug to get on but after on feels great. Super flexible. Prob not quite as bouyant as platinum but good enough. I’d say I like stokes over platinum overall. Good luck.
  9. I went to the Minneapolis show last weekend. Good showing for mastercraft and malibu. Staff seemed knowledgeable and boats looked great. Nautique could use some work. Marinemax might just be too big to do nautique’s Justice. I was hoping to learn more about the new 200 but failed. Actually after finding 3 reps that didn’t even know what a 200 was I decided to go talk bouys with the malibu guys. I’m not in the market for a new boat but was interested since I bought a new to me 200 last year.
  10. If anyone wants to trade a 422 for a 654 pm me. I've been running the 422 and like it but wouldn't mind having a 654 on the shelf as my spare. My current spare is a lightly used 422 that I would consider trading. I am in MN so altitude doesn't come into play.
