  1. I totally agree with LLUSA, as I bought an Outlaw when they first came out. The ski was fine at 32 mph and lower, but anything above that and your going for a bad fall pulling out of a fast turn. The ski would just loose the edge and helicopter HARD. I sold to a friend that was new to the game after letting him ski it, he still loves it. I'm now on a Radar P6 and can't say enough good things about it. Great ski for a big guy, easy starts and rips at 34 mph, no worries about ever loosing an edge, lay it over and rock, very responsive and stable. You can tell it the P6 is based on Radar higher performance skis, just .80 wider.
  2. You'll be able to ski again, snow and water. The main thing is doing your rehab post surgery religiously! You need to get everything healed and strong again. It's a bear at first but push through it and you'll be back on the water pain free.
  3. Try the Radar P6, it's a great ski. Starts real easy, and has great performance for a new skier. I run mine at 34 mph, and just love it. Performance Ski and Surf is a great shop to purchase from and is a supporter of Ball of Spray, buy from those that support the forum.
  4. I went for the P6 @ 69". It works just fine at 34 mph. Fun ski, gotta get used to the light weight compared to my old FX. Happy boy with the purchase. Thank you Performance Ski and Surf.
  5. Nice! Thank you. We're headed to the Delta for 2 days of skiing. I'll check my P6 and the Lyric per your settings!
  6. I need to replace my carpet on my bunks and decided to do the bunk boards at the same time. The current bunk boards on my PCM trailer are pressure treated boards, but I've seen where some folks are substituting TREX type synthetic boards instead of the pressure treated boards for the bunks. Any suggestions pro or con??
  7. I centered the front boot plate. Start at the front and install the first screws in the center supplied holes, and install the back screws in their corresponding holes. I don't have the ski with me, its in our boat at the marina, but the are a series of front holes, use the center holes. We run a double boot set up not an RPT. So mount the RPT approximately 1" from the Rear of the front boot. That's the info I received from Performance Ski. We ran the ski with that set up for 4 days, and my wife was happy with it, no adjustments needed. Do hand thread the screws in as I had 2 holes that had bad threads and needed tapped out. Tighten in a star pattern top right then left lower etc. Snug in place then finish with drill set on 7 for your torque setting. Have fun.
  8. Yup, Cheyenne Skier, and looks blike its clean!
  9. Got the info from Performance Ski and Surf. Had a surprising issue with rear boot back 2 screw inserts, both had to be tapped out due to poor threads. Be aware!
  10. Just received two new Radar skis. Does anyone know what the factory recommends for double boot mounting positions?
  11. Horton, just got through purchasing Radar Lyric and Radar P6 package deals from Performance Ski & Surf from Brian. Supporting those who support the sight. Thanks!
  12. So I'm looking to purchase a Radar P6 and for my wife the Radar Lyric. Also we'll be going with the Vector open toe double bindings. Is there any difference between the 2014 and 2015 models of both skis, and are the Vectors the same model since what year, We finally upgrading, thanks to comments and thoughts form everyone and Eddie, but of course want to get the best deal on the most current technology and models.
