  1. hay horton was just reading your post about the wileys boots being half an inch further forward than the modern bindings .was a bit concerned because i swaped the wileys boot of my connelly outlaw to my ho triumpth just stayed in the centre holes .so i went out and measured them there exactly the same the back of the heal lines up with the centre hole on both boots (ho basis boots)put them on and measured of my foot also got the same result please correct me if i am wrong i want my ski set up proply .note this wileys boot is only 12months old they may have fixed this problem?ps i no nothing about skis but can measure .
  2. thanks for the great advice am going to keep tryng was a bit slack yesterday only tryed twise to get out and used my normal both feet in way(almost got out to) .a week ago i tryed untill i could not try anymore to deep water start leg in leg out etc and payed for it last week it was great to get some sking in yesterday(droped a ski) .allso got a new rope so i could shorten it up a bit was skiing at 15off its heaps better don t no why i used a full length rope years ago(more great advice from reading this forum)

  4. hay otisg think i need some of those floatys tryed dragging a leg bending my back leg up with two feet in etc etc .failed thanks for the advise just going to keep trying to lose weight and keep sking reckon that will build my strenght up nilly got up a few times gave up i just dropped the ski today and how good is that ho triumpth to ride put my old wyles boot on it love it heaps better than the connelly outlaw.will prably try a beach start next trip hate going back looking for skis ?

  9. have always got out of the water with both feet in the bindings currently ski on a 69 connelly outlaw get out okay with it .just got a 69 ho triumpth am struggling to get out on it and dragging heaps weigh 225ponds prably should have got the 71 inch one(its great when you get out compared to the outlaw) .was just wondering what the techneke for dragging a leg is never had to do it in the past and does it get you up easyer will be trying it on sunday.never had these problems 20 years ago reckon a diet would help to
  10. have been thinking about getting a portable slalom course gregy great idear but i need to improve my skiing a lot first i think
  11. i just free ski am from australia there are no slalom causes where i ski am a bit rusty skied heaps when i was younger.am in my 40 s now just getting back into it you could call it a mid life crises that involves sbc350 chevs and sking love the moterhead side of it with an oldschool ski boat (mm v8sound)and sking wakeboarding bisceting wiith the family.prably not realy suited to this forum being an amater but love going for a ski anyway.can only dream of sking the slalom cause

  13. just a dumb question when you swap bindings do you have to measure boot positions etc i just put them in the centre holes the old bindings come out of.swaped a wileys of a connelly outlaw to a ho triumpth
  14. i like to have a wakeboard ride at the end of the day when i am to tired to ski .even have a wakeboard tower on the old boat and also a biscet ride with the kids is fun but have to agree skiing is the best.

  16. have a 2012 triumph with basis boots was just wondering about the basis boot sizes it has a xl 10 to 15 boot it feels a bit loose to me have to tighten the laces real tight and still feels loose but boot won t release seems a bit dangeros to me i have an 11 foot .was just wondering if i send it back and get a std 7 to 11 will i still get my foot in it would love to try one on but cannot so just asking for some advice

  19. sorry to intrude on this thread just got an 012 ho triumpth ski it has basis boots on it how safe are they for ancles etc.have wileys boots on my old ski have crash tested them heaps release spot on am a bit concerned about these new boots they have shoe laces ?have not crash tested them yet and don t want any injerys ps am not a very good skier just want to have some safe fun on the lake
