    I don't have any personal experience, but this place is SW Denver, probably 45 mins from the Springs, depending on where you are and of course on traffic. I think you can buy a pull and I think they do lessons. http://skisoda.com/

    Nearly 4 feet of snow in Boulder during the month of April! Should get to almost 70 this weekend.

    @Brady, had to laugh because you described my opinion of my one and only cruise experience to a tee! Give me a week skiing anytime.

    I think the ice is off, temps getting near 70 for about a day or two. Unfortunately this time of year if the temperature is above 60, the wind is probably above 40....

    @Razorskier1, I hear ya! I have one with 3 years down and 1 to go. Two more kids to put through school in the next 6 years. If I don't kick the bucket before then, I'll think about a list!

    Steve Ward. Live near Boulder, CO, age 48 (dangerously close to 50!). Started skiing when I was probably 8 yrs old. Never really liked it until I was in my late teens. Started skiing the course some time in college. Took roughly 20 years off and started skiing again in the last couple years.

    I am in the Boulder, CO area. I would be happy to offer up a pull. Little afraid to offer up a pull to some pretty seasoned skiers, the lake I ski on is little, my boat is old (1991 Prostar), and I don't have PP or ZO. With all those caveats, you are welcome.

    @jimbrake The great thing is that I am on vacation, I don't "have" to do anything. The reality is that we are very unlikely to ski, just a thought. Just for the record, I have eaten at McDonalds in Kihei and it is a very funny memory, sort of an inside, family joke.

    Anybody heard of any place to ski on Maui? I know there is a club on Oahu, but haven't heard of anything on Maui. Will be there over Thanksgiving week and was curious.
