Your timing just seems odd.

@Than_Bogan you’re saying three tail options is a bad idea but advising average Joe to stuff a random size washer under the fin block is a good idea?
-
nice Prostar!

Response Lx w/ wedge. LXi is above that price. I would say Sunsetter but they’re hard to find.
Edit: It should be easy to find one with a tower and Perfect Pass.
I think the ski locker was added in’99.

@swc5150 makes you wonder why the only pictures of the boat are from 100 yards away with a tree and a canopy blocking your view!???

Yes. I'll PM you my email.

The legend.

@dbaconaz as a reference do you mind saying what ski you were on?
-
Forgot to say: 195 lb, 40-ish yr old, mostly free skis at -15, 34 mph, skis the course once in a while.

A friend of mine is looking for a Strada 68”.
I heard the Orange one (2013?) is a little better. Probably a 68” is best, maybe a 67 would work.
I see a few on SIA but no orange ones.
Anyone have one in the shed you’re ready to sell?

nice!

@UWSkier what was the first year of the VTX? Did you say the first model skied well for a V drive?

How many ballers just goggled Response FXi? ?♂️

I think it would sell “if” the slalom wake was good. Don’t know if they would sell a lot of them but there is a market for it.
-
@epnault It doesn’t. The first time I got in the driver’s seat, I saw the hand throttle and I still looked for a foot pedal. :)
@thager yeah, I skied at 30mph to test the waters.
@eyepeeler yep, B2 doesn’t mean anything on this boat!

Also, at idle the engine sound cool and slow, it goes, chug......chug......chug

Last summer my buddy learned to slalom, he was instantly hooked and in no time he bought this 1974 Ski Nautique “The Ski King II”. Last week he bought a portable course and is keeping it up on public water.
He is so fired up his energy is contagious, I had twice the fun as skiing on a pristine man made lake w/ a promo boat. And the best part, he is a wakeboarder! So every time he skis, there’s one less wake barge on the river.

Anyone else?

I really like my T-Factor.

@teammalibu Cool! Is it fast? Did you try the ION-S?

They all ski the same.
More options is not better
in Skis Fins Bindings
Posted
I am not being a jerk, it’s that someone had to call you out on this. Than, you brag on one ski company nonstop for two year. That ski company released two new fins, a new wing, and a fin block that will adjust depth on one side of the fin independently of the other and all that is “good”. Then Connelly comes out with a ski with three different tail options and all the sudden options are bad?
How else did you expect us to interpret your post?
I agree with post above, I want a ski that feels good at stock settings, but for the skiers who like to tweak, let them have as many tail options as they want.
