  1. We use a 4 footer...my son drives me and my goal is to minimize the danger and teach good safety skills. Turning off the boat when someone is on the swim step using a shock tube are just part of a safe boat. I hate when something happens that could be easily been dealt with by and ounce of prevention.
  2. I owned an 89' and ran the plate flat. The girls always loved to ski behind it at lower slalom speeds. The wake was minimal for the era at least. There was a bump at 22 but that was probably mostly us because that's about where the most of us were topping out at then. I did love that boat!
  3. I have always wanted B 1-4 with speeds 28-36 and redistributing the age divisions. For me it isn't about every body getting a trophy, it is about good competition and retention in the sport. There is always the concept that if it isn't broke don't fix it, but this sport is broken and needs fixing. I love this sport and what is has done for my family and for the friends we have met. I would just like to see more people in it and have alway thought this system would help and not hurt a thing.
  4. Teak all the way. Prettier and way better for sliding off with jumpers. Very easy to fix a nick in the teak and very hard to fix the fiberglass. Like the godfather said, "It's tradition"!
  5. I am trying a larger handle that is ARS and bent. I am also going to try the gloves without the dowel. Everyone is different but as much as I liked them at first they focused the pull too much on my center fingers and really flaired up my tendinitis. I had never in 25 years had it before.
