That is a great question. I have been told that it doesn't come into play. I've not been beyond 28. Some of my fellow skiers go beyond that and it has not been an issue. That particular tower was designed for the Response line and I was told when I ordered it new that it is not an issue at short line lengths. Perhaps someone on the forum knows. It can certainly be romoved if someone doesn't like it. Thanks for asking! Danny

It has an incredible soft buttery wake for slalom skiing, and the wedge allows you to adjust the wake for wakeboarding, surfing, and wakeskating. There is about 300 hours on this boat, and is almost flawless. All hours were very easy hours. This is a beautiful boat!
