  1. One other thing, at barefoot speed, 38 miles MPH, the roost looks to be about a foot tall, even with an extended rope. I know it's not a barefoot specific boat, but I have to wonder if the 4 blade prop is adding to the bigger roost.
  2. Thanks for the responses. I have posted on Planet Nautique and Correct Craft Fan forums with no response. Let me try and describe whats going on. I've had Mastercrafts (78, 87) before this Ski Nautique, and have always used the green loop(32 off) with them. Also, I ski on 2 trick skis at 17 mph, and single trick at 19 mph . With this boat the tips of the ski dig in to the wakes, same thing at 28 off. At 22 off there is a second wake starting to form in the center, and 15 off the wakes are getting to wide, and to far apart to ski to for wake tricks. I've noticed this same thing on other boats with 4 blade props. This is my first boat with a 4 blade prop that's why I asked.
  3. I also have heard of adding ballast to flatten the table out. Not sure where or how much.
  4. I recently bought a 1996 Ski Natique, there doesn't seem to be a good flat spot for surface turns. It came with a 4 blade prop. I was wondering if a 3 blade prop may give me a better trick table. Tim
  5. "In 1994, for the second year in a row, former world slalom water ski champion and world record holder LaPoint won the right to wear the crown as the world's best skier on both water and snow. In 1993 at the inaugural "Water vs. Snow" competition, LaPoint bested three worthy adversaries to claim the title during a made-for-TV format event consisting of slalom waterskiing and downhill racing."

  7. http://youtu.be/DxUtf_roV_A This is fun to watch.
  8. The biggest difference to me is, in Slalom skiing on water through the course, you fight to stay wide so you are early for the turn. But in Snow skiing through a course, you to try and stay as narrow as you can, and ski straight down the fall line on purpose. I suppose it's the difference of fighting the pull of the boat, compared to using gravity to it's greatest extent
  9. I've always held the overall skiers at the top of my favorites. Did you see Nate Smith barefoot video?
  10. A friend gave me these Dixie Clipper Skis, I never did find out anything much about who, or where they were made.
  11. I bought these Simon Koury Trick Skis off Craigs list for 50 bucks. The bindings have been updated, but there still pretty cool.
  12. We've had several inches of rain here in southeast Mi., Tipsico Lake has come up several inches from the lowest I 've seen. Hopefully well keep getting some more spring rains. Now if it would just warm up.
