  1. New cost of features <> depreciated value of features. PP is kind of expected for anyone skiing the course looking at a 20 year old boat. Also towers and ballast are very polarizing, nice features for the right buyer at best and an annoyance to others. Here is what others will also be looking at, this is what 25k gets you: https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=67708 https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=66420 here is what 32k gets you, 10 years newer and zero off for starters: https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=68191
  2. I've found that if i put my right (front) knee in the crook of my right elbow while sitting in the water holding a tight rope I can brace myself until there's enough speed to just start standing up. Plus, I don't get pulled off balance if the driver decides to idle more than necessary.
  3. back before tik tok this video made the rounds on here and I thought the consensus was that the driver slammed it into reverse. can't find the thread at the moment. edit: here it is:
  4. That's going to be a tall order. Mastercraft won't sell new parts like that to a boat that is older than 5 years. Since the rear seats were current through 2019, last spring I found one dealer that said they could probably order for them, but for your 2015 the stitching might not match and expect a 6+ month lead time. Your only option for bow seats is a wrecked boat or custom fab, I think 2016 they started building all boats with bow seats as it was such a task to add after the fact.
  5. @ScottScott I tend to agree, my '97 Sea Ray 175 had a gas gauge that was as accurate and stable as a car.
  6. a portable course like insta-slalom is a bit flimsy and will flex in the wind. If you get 20' pieces of 2" sch 80 pvc, it can be pretty dang rigid, its what we have at our ski club, also in an old quarry.
  7. The doghouse unbolts from the floor with 4 nylock nuts, its a little tricky getting back into place solo, but separating them makes it a little easier to move them out of the boat.
  8. If your biggest concern on replacing the damper is the exhaust hose, I saw you're more than ready. wd 40 is the way to go, did that when I had to get the manifolds off.
  9. Same 'boat' for sale yet again on boat trader... https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2014-mastercraft-prostar-8672758/
  10. Would a manifold from a newer engine bolt up?
  11. @Horton wow you're right, when did malibu insource? that seems like a big thing to bring in house, are they good?
  12. @bigspray well no one has listed a price so IMO this is just a thread of feelers
  13. Looks like this is @Wish 's link: https://www.amazon.com/Hobbypower-Anti-vibration-Phantom-Vision-Walkera/dp/B00MGIZSMY yeah that's pretty slick too. I saw that when I bought but wasn't sure it'd be a good fit. Could use that hardware kit I linked to use that too. The cables are adjustable on the one I got too so I can make it more or less soft.
  14. @loopski there are two links, second is to the randomizes parts, first is to the cable shock absorber.
