  1. @teammalibu Alana and I are north of there in Sandpoint and happy to help a CR skier with a pull. However she may want to check out Stella Blue lake in Washington. Great private lake and super owners that are great to ski with. Lewiston is on a boatable river and may have some locals that ski there.  Www.stellabluelake.com

  2. @Andre, one issue I have found is that the Vinyl ones are very heavy and hard to install or remove by yourself. I have a vinyl and my neighbour went with a Sunbrella like material and way easier to handle. Easy to install and fold up to store.

I did order a new canopy in 2019 from boatcoversdirect and was happy with the product and price etc. It was a shelter-rite vinyl and seems well made. I wish i had gone with the Sunbrella style material now however.

  3. Having owned a Prostar 197 and a SN 196, I would say that the Nautique "rides" a bit better in roughish water. No ski boat is made for the big water on a large lake but Nautiques do cut through the waves and ride smoother then the flat bottoms of MC and Bu's.

PS: Buy the 196, they are amazing boats and very well made!

  4. We have an amazing 2004 196 and would love to find a set of these ski racks, my wife finds the skis on the floor messy and would love to have a set of these racks.

Anyone have a set they would part with? OR anyone have have a set that they would take an outline of and I can try and make a set if I had the shape and size

    Thanks in advance,

  5. Thanks everyone, my guts says i need to come visit and have a look around and see if it is for us. Really looking for a spring / fall ski escape place. Somewhere to ski March, April and May and Oct. Happy up North in summer and still love Snow skiing in the middle of winter!

  6. Cold water is different in Florida and Canada! Water tops out at 80 in the north and we ski water in the High 40's by end of season. 70 degree water feels faster then 85 water BUT once water is in the 55 range it is like sandpaper between ski and water and feels really slow and hard to get the ski to move. Let's define what temp is warm? 70, 80, 90? and what is Cold water 40's, 50's or 70's?
