38's are my stopper. I have a great 1 ball almost all the time......wide & early @ 2 but it's down hill from there. I've run it a dozen or so times over the past two years. Fortunately a couple of times in tourneys. I can't seem to figure out how to keep my speed up through the end of the turn once I get past 1 ball! Therefore I just end up in a battle with the boat and lose!

Everyone gets keg'd up at 2 @38 for some reason, including me.  I am with Richard, I am going to run a 38 in a tournament this year for the first time.  39 or Bust!

Last year Horton had a post about "stuck @ 98 bouys", which encompasses alot of skiers who can run -35, but get nowhere @ -38. That was me. Improvement has come from concentrating on getting a good start, and learning to be patient while the ski finishes. It also helps to practice back to back -35's, because when you start to own the -35 pass, the -38 begins to get easier. And the more you can run a clean 35 in an event, the more shots you'll get at 38 in a tournament.
