Old MS Accout Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 RD and OF are on there way down to ski at JDs now. Nothing like snow and cold to get those guys to go skiing. 1 look at that photo and those guys booked a flight.ÂÂ
Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted February 13, 2010 Baller_ Posted February 13, 2010 No joke. Just think how bad it would be if we didn't have all this global warming! The first 2 photos were yesterday, 12 Feb. We also froze solid last month. This is in Texas of all places. If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Baller robscholl-OF Posted February 13, 2010 Baller Posted February 13, 2010 Heck yea I'd ski that, send me a ticket and I will be down.....OFÂÂ
Jean B Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 That is prefect water, go skiing. If you need to use the dock, just shovel the snow off, like we did last year at Broho. :)
Baller GAJ0004 Posted February 14, 2010 Baller Posted February 14, 2010 jdarwin,Where was this taken? It almost looks like Pennsylvania and Ohio in November. If it start to freeze in the south you will have to change to a Hewett Roll-A-Dock to get out of the way of the ice. ÂÂ
Baller GAJ0004 Posted February 26, 2010 Baller Posted February 26, 2010 This is a shot of Lake Latonka in PA taken out my parents' back door. The lake is down by 5 feet. Our docks and lift are up out of the lake bed. They will close the gate valve in the spring and the lake will fill to its normal level. We expect this in Pennsylvania, but I can understand how those of you who live in the south may hate it. We actually get a little more snow where I live in Ohio because we are right on Lake Erie.
