  1. D3 X5 Rose, a very forgiving intermediate to advanced ski. Depending how much she weighs on the length. Should be able to get a good deal on a used one. I get up in the fetal position all the time, however I stay on the back of it and almost have my rear dragging in the water to keep my weight on the back of the ski, until the boat picks up enough speed. No sense in wasting energy, let the boat do all the work.
  2. Since D3 made a xs binding, I decided to try the T-Factor. Yes even for my size 6 it is narrow where the flat of my foot is, can feel the side seams slightly, however doesn't bother me. Had issues with the front tongue not staying in the center, solved that problem, put a couple holes in the center top to line up with the last cross over on the bungie ties, put a loop made with a piece of lace in there, then ran my ties through the loop. Now my tongue stays put. Being only 5'1" the xs bindings were way to tall, (D3 would save on material on the xs if they made the whole binding an 1 1/2' shorter) I trimmed the front and back rubber part down by at least an 1 1/2". Had to cut and resew the pull on straps back on with a hand sewing awl. Now I have a pair of custom fit bindings, that I like. I said good bye to my old approach bindings. The true test was yesterday, for the first time in a long time, I crashed out the front and the bindings did what they were suppose to do, no damage to the extremities, after getting ejected out of the bindings. Only thing is haveing to deal with a sore neck today.
  3. Well at 105lbs behind the newer MC at 15 off, no matter how good an edge I have I can't get a smooth ride, I pretty much get launched at 30mph. A big difference between 30mph and 32mph wake size. at 30mph it is down right dangerous. 32 tolerable, 34 smaller bump but hard as a rock. A noticeable improvement at -22.
  4. dsmart. My boat that I just sold was a 2000 MC.
  5. Do you get attached to your boat? I do, I cried when my boat left with it's new owner last week. And now just yesterday Officer Friendly was sad when he sold his boat and it was hitched up ready to be towed to it's new owner. Kool Bean one of the Broho Corgis was feeling his loss too. I didn't see OF cry but I believe he cried when no one could see him. :(
  6. Buy my 2000 MC. It is a great skiing and tricking boat . If you add the Pylon extention and fill the fat sack that comes with, it makes it fun to goof around wake boarding or wake surfing. See in on SIA.
  7. Been on SIA for over a month now. Listed at $17,000.
  8. if you want big air pull my finger    I love it. The next time you plan on demonstrating the force of air OF, let me pull your finger to see what happens. Bigger Air maybe? So then, everyone come to Broho's "Return to Broho Tournament" in May next spring. We have a lot of fun, especially when we have the head to head, and the little guys beat the big guys. :) I am thinking as soon as I check with the boss I am going to make it official for Saturday night's dinner at the RTBT. JB's Bbcued ribs. And we all know beer goes really well with Ribs. and of course Red Wine. :)
  9. Where is the picture of the guys in speedo's?Â
  10.  Neoprene spray legs are the key to keeping the suit from dragging you down on your turn. When you try the suit on make sure you bend over to see if there is enough length in the torso. You don't want the torso too short, because if it is to short, when you go to bring your knees up to your chest on your pull up, you can get a nasty wedgie feeling pulling hard you know where.Â
  11. Gotcha Eddie Jr. HA. Cool Beans about the small boots coming soon. Yes I have tried the size 8 and my foot flops around in them. Â
  12. Eddie Jr. says "Closed toe Strada bindings take the foot pain away too. Definitely worth doing! " Tell your Dad I ski all year and they need to take care of the little people too. So your Dad needs to work on  Radar to start making a  small size, so I don't have pain all winter either.
  13. Skiing is the best therapy there is out there. No matter how I feel, my first pull up out of the water makes me feel exhilarated and happy. Every thing happyened in the day or the past fades away into the back ground and all I do is think about skiing and what I need to do through the course. AAAHHHHHH   sswwweeetttt. I love skiing. SKiing makes me happy.
