Baller Skihack Posted March 16, 2011 Baller Share Posted March 16, 2011 First ride on the Strada was better than expected. Ski was very stable, turns faster than any other ski rode. Going by Matt Rini's fin setup recommendations, the ski was perfect in every respect. Absolutely no tip rise. Now, just got to get used to it. jaredH20
i'm running Rossi's numbers and have noticed some tip rise, any one noticed less rise from Rini's numbers? Got a comp in 2 weeks so a bit nervous to start playing with the fin now.
Bud Man
I’ve run Rossi’s and Rini’s numbers and really don’t think I noticed a difference. I think it might be that the ski has a long flat spot and also that I ski slow, only ski 34.2mph. As long as you are videoing each pass, I would not be worried about moving things and check the results.

Baller rq0013 Posted March 16, 2011 Baller Share Posted March 16, 2011 I have noticed tip rise more on rossi's numbers aswell. I have been on rini's numbers from proskicoach and numbers he gave a friend of mine for 66"6.840 (tips), 2.505-2.510, .755 I like this setup the best when the water is 75 degrees or warmer
Old MS Accout
I am set close to rq0013 numbers but a bit shallower at 2.503. Anything over that is to hard to turn. I have new Stradas on my ski now so as soon as I can get wet I will find out if they work with the new binding set up.
Baller Dirt Posted March 16, 2011 Baller Share Posted March 16, 2011 I liked Rini's numbers better also. I tried Horton's numbers and they felt even better. I was on a 68". Rossi 30" 2.495 6.850 .79 9*Rini  30" 2.510 6.855 .76 9*Horton 29 5/8 2.505 6.850 .810 I think the Ball of Hair uses no wing. I put it at 9*
Baller scoke Posted March 16, 2011 Baller Share Posted March 16, 2011 Those numbers were good but also you could try if you wanted: 30.25" then 2.52 6.95 0.81 at 8* That thing skis wicked cool.

Old MS Accout
If Scoke is on the Radar we need to get some pics. I would love to see him cross over from the dark side. Â
