Baller Chef23 Posted December 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2011 Is that skiing for lazy people? Might be perfect for me. Stuffing the tips on a wake jump would hurt though. I don't see myself running out to buy one.
Baller_ Jody_Seal Posted December 9, 2011 Baller_ Share Posted December 9, 2011 Take a digger on that dude might be like skiing in a Blender! I will take the skytube over the ski seat any day!
Baller klindy Posted December 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2011 We had one of those things way back when I was growing up in Michigan. At the time it was branded the "sit-ski", powder blue with white metal hardware. It was fun to ride the first time (pre-teen). Two things I can remember clearly - 1) fall on/into that bad boy and you were sore for days (hopefully you weren't bleeding!) and 2) the previous model sank! If you look in the video, you can see some white foam on some of the shots, we never had that on ours. I remember swimming down in ~10' of water to chase it to the bottom...thought my dad would kill me if we lost it!
Baller ral Posted December 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2011 That thing will make orthopedic surgeons happy. So much potential for injuries. And they even show a beach landing as an example, and two simultaneous skiers with different rope lengths.

Administrators Horton Posted December 9, 2011 Author Administrators Share Posted December 9, 2011 I heard that Rini has Jason McClintock training on one. Running back to back 38s on it. Baller rodltg2 Posted December 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2011 Somebody needs to run a pass on that thing and capture some video! Good winter time fun! If I had one I'd go for it. A few beers and some jager shots to stay warm !
Administrators Horton Posted December 9, 2011 Author Administrators Share Posted December 9, 2011 @Brent I do not think we want to make any jokes about people with real disabilities but yes I would like to see you ride it. Baller Not_The_Pug Posted December 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2011 Maybe Horton can do a test/write-up on it over the winter?
Baller MrJones Posted December 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted December 9, 2011 I would like to see a pressure probe reading from a lumbar disc when you land a wake jump on that thing. I can just feel the anulus tearing when watching...
Administrators Horton Posted December 9, 2011 Author Administrators Share Posted December 9, 2011 I would be just as worried about an anus tear Goode ★ HO Syndicate ★ KD Skis ★ MasterCraft ★ PerfSki Radar ★ Reflex ★ S Lines ★ Stokes ★ Baller Video Coaching System Become a Supporting Member
Baller 6balls Posted December 10, 2011 Baller Share Posted December 10, 2011 My buddy "Fat Cat" has one of these...he rode it and it was pretty wild but no one else among the buoy heads found it interesting enough to try it.
