Baller kylecarey Posted July 9, 2012 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2012 Wife and I had a baby in march and I was thinking of getting a bikini to protect her from the sun as much as possible. Anyone know of a good source for one? Thanks Kyle

itch2ski
If you are looking for a bikini for protection what does she wear now?...
Baller swc5150 Posted July 9, 2012 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2012 You must mean bimini, and not bikini?

Baller Onside135 Posted July 9, 2012 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2012 But since I've contributed nothing of importance to your question...here is the link to Ski It Again. 10 biminis for sale right now. Not sure what type of boat you have, but here is a start. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Bimini_Top
Baller WBLskier Posted July 9, 2012 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2012 I bought one for my boat at I-boats.com. It was $217 with free shipping. It probably isn't as high of quality materials as the ones that are $500, but it works great and has held up well for two seasons now. I bought my dad one because I liked it so much. You just enter the year and model of your boat and pick a color and bimini material and it will be there in 5 days.
Ryno
My little boy has been on the boat (held by his mum) since 1 month old. It would not have been possible with out the protection of a bimini. But in any case, with the risk of sun cancer these days, everyone should use a bimini.
Baller AggieSkier Posted July 9, 2012 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2012 http://www.gmitopdesign.com/first-e.html Nice bimini, good price. They are Canadian, shipping price is not bad but look for a small charge on the credit card for currency exchange. I bought a black one and it is great even in the Texas sun. Baller ForrestGump Posted July 10, 2012 Baller Share Posted July 10, 2012 I've had a GMI and it was a good value. The best I've had was from Ameritex but unfortunately they're no longer in business.
Baller igkya Posted July 10, 2012 Baller Share Posted July 10, 2012 I had a GMI bimini for several years and was very pleased with it. Stainless and quick connects are nice options.
