Baller_ Wish Posted July 14, 2012 Baller_ Share Posted July 14, 2012 Spray paint comes in plenty of colors these days (let him/her pick) and with some painters tape to protect the sides and bottom of the ski they can design a custom one. Spray a few cool colors in a pattern or no pattern first, let it dry and then lay down painters tape for race strips or any configuration they like (all kinds of widths available) and then spray the main color. Auto stores have different tapes. I just used Walmart. Pull the tape off when wet. You can creat a racing stripe or shapes if you cut them out of sticky back shelf paper and lay that down to be pealed off later. I painted both the slolom skies my daughter skied on. If he/she can help with design or tape removal, all the better. Then he/she will want to show it off by riding it. :) Apparently lime green is the in color. She likes it. That's all that matters. I have a 62" Obrein Aliegance (not painted) I could part with.
