lot owner Charles Mitchell (Chaz) on the west end of the lake near the island. He is a 15 off'r like me. Hung out a bit with good ol Tom West and all his friends too. Chaz is. rippin' dirt biker and was doing 110 foot jumps on the Moto track they have their too. he is the driver in the vid I posted in my newb vid thread.

 

I hope my visits to ski there become a regular thing.

 

also looked into a membershp at the bellevue lake, but will have to see how that works out.

Reviving this old thread because I finally got to go again. After a couple year lay off due to my previous injuries, I re-joined my friend Chaz at his home at Black Butte Ranch. Skied some very nice conditions, just shadowing the balls today, getting used again to skiing where a course exists, and trying simply to ski rather than to make balls, and get used to that. Next time down, maybe I will try to run it.

Chaz's docks and newer boat. It was my first time behind a Zero-Off boat too. Smooth is better! I could really tell when I reached for the handle and gave the boat a hit.

Very humbled and grateful to be invited down to join the skiers down there. It was a great opportunity and day.

One of my favorite places to ski! Easiest water I have ever skied on!
