Star Gazer System with V8.0 (z box)software upgrade

I have a full Star Gazer system already up graded to V 8.0 software, its out of a DBW Malibu Response LXi 340hp moonsoon, includes Multiline Display, Master Module(DBW), 2 x smart timers, GPS puck, wireing etc... may include the Delphi ECU.

I have been looking for a multi-line display and star gazer upgrade for my 99 Response LX that has a PP classic pro with the single line display.

Do you know if the guages are the same size ?

Can I use this system in a non DBW boat ?

Same question, will it function in non-drive by wire? Have a '00 SN196

I spoke with PP a while back. If I remember correct, they are not interchangeable systems. I think DBWs the system is linked into the boats computer system. I could be wrong.

I emailed PP about fitting it into a CB response NDBW and they said, the displays are the same inside, just the master module would need changing, and if you do not have one you would need a servo motor,

 

This is a 5" display

 

The system in my boat goes from the dash display to the master module(the master module plugs into the wireing loom under the dash), wireing loom runs to the ECU, the smart timers and GPS puck run from the master module.

 

PP should be able to clarify what is needed for specific boats.

I would email PP and find out about what specific Master Module you would require. I could split the system up if required, Im upgrading to Zero Off.

 

I can supply serial numbers to the purchser to double check before they buy.

after looking at the master module, looks like all the DBW master modules are the same for all DBW boats? can anyone confirm that this is correct?
