Baller KcSwerver Posted February 21, 2013 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2013 Well... Here I am ready to get on the water and all the sudden we get hit with over a foot of snow to dampen my spirits. At least the ski touched "water" in February. Baller skihacker Posted February 21, 2013 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2013 do those conditions require a fin adjustment? look on the bright side, upstate ny our pond will be frozen for another month.
Baller KcSwerver Posted February 21, 2013 Author Baller Share Posted February 21, 2013 Actually seriously considering hooking up a tow rope to the truck and throwing on an old trick ski and going for a spin
Baller skihacker Posted February 21, 2013 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2013 always wondered how much trouble a guy could get into with a tow rope and a snowmobile? probably need a waiver of some sort.

Baller XR6Hurricane Posted February 22, 2013 Baller Share Posted February 22, 2013 Be glad you're getting the water...my mooring is in shin deep water right now and is normally above my belly button. The river is doing well with some heavy rains lately but the lake is shot.

Baller Ed_Obermeier Posted February 23, 2013 Baller Share Posted February 23, 2013 Now they're calling for another 6 - 12" on Monday. Great... We haven't had much winter here the past 3 - 4 years so this much snow in this part of the country is kind of a shock. Not unpresendented but it's been a while. I'm thankful for the moisture though, it's been DRY here the past year. All my local ski lakes are too low to get a boat into right now so this is a step in the right direction for sure. Plus it's late February, can't last too much longer. Can it??
