Baller BraceMaker Posted May 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2013 Reflex white cuff carbon plates 500 releases, on the slalom, chicken tricking - less clear, not seeing the heel units on those skis, they have reflex trick skis at the beginning but are riding d3 and something white topped in the video. Nick Sullivan
Those are different buckles then on the White Cuff boots. Is that an option for those?
Baller MattP Posted May 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2013 @Sully yes the aluminum buckles are an after market modification sold by reflex
Baller BraceMaker Posted May 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2013 Ski boot buckles - i just mark the strap, eventually i cut the strap two teeth into the receiver, click click snap
Baller MattP Posted May 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2013 @bracemaker I would caution anyone to cut the straps that short if your favorite 2nd click were to wear out I hope you like to go tighter rather than a hair looser. I do have mine trimmed but are about 10 clicks or so away from my favorite setting. The aluminum buckles eliminate the need to trim and guess where the plastic straps are each time. Nick Sullivan
@MattP, That is exactly what I had in mind when I saw those. I like em.
jaredH20
@Bracemaker no reflex trick skis. I am riding a D3 Custom x trick ski in the video its a 2006 model but the top graphic peeled off, the hardshell is bolted down to the plate for the tricks.
