For a goode it depends how much you want to spend. If you were to buy any one 9100, 9700 and later they are all going to be good. I skied on a 9100, 9700, 9900, and a nano twist. Settled on the 9900 and 9100 for backup, they were all good just liked those.

 

Don't limit yourself to goode, there are other skis out there that could do some good. Demo and do what you like.

Agreed. There are lots of great skis out there for your purpose. I'm most familiar with Goode and D3... Can't go wrong either way. It's funny, I keep reverting back to my sister's D3 X3 for an effortless pull. You may want to test ski one?
