Baller MZito Posted September 8, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 8, 2013 Does anyone have a list of course times actual, slow, and fast in 1mph increments? looking for 35mph, 33mph and 31mph. I was never good a math, but D=R(T) just is not making sense. D=850length of course/33mph=25.75??? Sorry for the very juvenile question but trying to be accurate while me and my ski partners are learning this most additive sport!! Thx
Baller JWebSki Posted September 8, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 8, 2013 Your units of measurement need to be the same. Course dimensions are in feet so 33 mph equals 48.4 feet per second. So now D=R(t) plug in 850 and 48.4 and you get 17.56sec
Baller MZito Posted September 8, 2013 Author Baller Share Posted September 8, 2013 Thx You @JWebSki, its been to long since I have had to do math equations. much appreciated!
Baller klindy Posted September 8, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 8, 2013 Use the published AWSA timing chart and interpolate between the times. Each speed is 3kph faster than the previous which is essentially 2mph.
Baller JWebSki Posted September 8, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 8, 2013 So the actual times would be... 31mph=18.70s 33mph=17.56s 35mph=16.56s

Baller usaski1 Posted September 10, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 10, 2013 @E_T I used to think that was true.. shoot, I used to drive around with a stopwatch hanging from my mirror.. but with the advent of ZO/PP I no longer think a timing chart is necessary.
