Baller MattP Posted August 30, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 30, 2014 It is under wakeboard. I have been an official for a wake surf comp before. @The_Krista is on vacation.
Baller gregy Posted August 30, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 30, 2014 I watched for a little while. I think wakeboarding is more interesting to watch. Seems like I see as many if not more wakesurfers at the lake. Way back when I surfed we wouldn't even had bothered to go out for a wave the size of those boat wakes. Baller Waternut Posted August 30, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 30, 2014 Wakesurfing for me is a screw around sport when you're tired. Pretty cool to do and a neat concept but really boring to watch even the pro's. @gregy I agree it's not a 5+ft wave but it definitely lasts a whole lot longer and catching it is a whole lot easier. Baller_ MISkier Posted August 31, 2014 Baller_ Share Posted August 31, 2014 I haven't figured out how they can get around the buoys once they let go of the rope. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Baller Ed_Obermeier Posted September 1, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 1, 2014 Wakesurfing isn't a sport. It's an activity. Kinda like tubing.
