  1. I was on T-factor for a while and switched to Reflex because of sore ankle issues. I tried black top reflex and it was a very easy transition but they were just a little small for a 14 foot. I've been on Supershell for several years now. It was a harder switch for me going to the supershell than the blacktop but I've had almost no ankle injuries with them. No best binding, it depends on personal preference, goals etc.
  2. I wonder if it has to do with copyright of music? I been hearing that people are getting a lot of videos demonetized and removed lately because of the AI is catching them even if they have rights. I read about a music teacher that had their entire channel taken down.
  3. I've had problems with pre-release when putting my bindings on skis to try out. I always do a test release now when switching my bindings. Reflex supershells.
  4. I had one ship through a trucking company. Don't remember which but the seller rapped in up in really good, bubble wrap and several layers of cardboard.
  5. On the turn into the gates when you connect with the boat the ski is still pointed down course quite a lot. I think that has to do with what Bruce was saying about being on the back foot. If you could get more on top of the ski in the glide and get a little more free of the boat then turn in and get the ski between the handle the boat resulting in starting your pull early so you don't have to pull long to get to one. That's what I was saying not shorting your pull just shifting the work zone. The gate sets the rhythm and timing for the course. It's hard to be patient in turn if the boat already connecting before you are able to finish the turn, that's the timing that is established from the start. You might try a video coaching session. I did a couple with CP a few years ago and he picked out a few things that I didn't see that really helped me. I was thinking like Bruce you might need some ski tuning but the 35 pass looks smoother. I put a 3/16" shim under the heel of my back boot to help me get up on the ski more seeing as I wear 14 shoes I can only get my boots so close together. Really overall looks good. I doubt I'll ever run 38.
  6. Not getting much response on this. See if we can get something started. Seems like you stay on the edge too long at the gates. You're still on the cutting edge past the spray. I think that is causing you to be rushed at the ball. May need to shift your cutting timing some so you get on the inside edge sooner. Anyway, still some good skiing.
  7. What's your 35 off pass look like? Running 38 is awesome in any form.
  8. This site cost me money regularly, ski reviews etc. But I've also avoided work promotions so that I could keep my flexible work schedule for ski time. If I had pursued the corporate ladder I might have been able to afford the lake front house and new boats. I try to live cheap, always buy used cars that I can pay cash on. Been in the same house since the early 90s. Have a used boat that I did a ZO upgrade on. Sometimes I wonder if I'd been better off pursuing the big buck career.
  9. Years ago when I was in the boat business we hardest time selling green boats. Usually they got discounted and sold in the winter.
  10. How tall is she? I saw a picture of here next to Regina and she seem much taller.
  11. I like the 2016 vapor better. No pro build then. Top was lithium. It seemed more forgiving and consistent. 2019 67" Senate Pro Build would be good too.
  12. I didn't realize Jason Paredes was such a good 3 event skier.
  13. I transfered the year before that, probably would have been there if I hadn't.
  14. I've got a 67 that I'd sell in Austin.
  15. Look what tgas does at wakes. Looks more like what Horton was talking about in the other thread.
  16. My feet measures to be 13.5. I'm using a reflex supershell. I tried the black shell with thin liners and it turned my big toe black. The Supershell with intuition Aqualiner work well for me. I like some room around my toes so when I molded the liner I put tissues between and around my toes. Never tried the HO hard shell.
  17. One thing that been bothering me since I read the article. The two items he seems to have admitted to. The sex with a minor was at 23 (5 years ago). Domestic violence 7 years ago. The WaPo article said they could not do anything about the underage sexual misconduct because Safesport had not been formed yet and he was technically not on the national team yet. Why were they able to then go back two more years and give a suspension on the domestic violence but not on the other. Seems like a contradiction. I don't completely trust WaPo to be 100% accurate reporting. In the click bait times we live in I would not put it past them to sensationalize this a bit to get more clicks.
  18. I've used H2O proshop and Miami Nautique and had great experience with both.
  19. Look for seth stisher videos. He has some 15off videos on Youtube.
  20. Where's the "confidential report" that Wa Po was able to review? If it is confidential why were they able to look at it? I wouldn't trust him around teenage girls and anyone who does is not very intelligent. We had a system and this what the system gave us. From the articles it looks like some short comings have been addressed.
  21. He admitted to and determined guilty by Safesport and was given a sentence. The case went through the proper authorities and governing bodies. In my opinion if we devolve to some outrage culture with lynch mobs society is done. Unless Safesport or the courts reevaluate things or a civil case I'm going with results so far. If they safesport or the courts do change their minds I hope its due to fact not some outraged mob.
  22. The only reason I noticed this is because I've been forced to rethink my skiing. I'm skiing the best I've every skied using the "tall and stiff" approach as boardingschool says, but its hard on my back due to the compressive force on my spine. Plus I had a top level coach that said being more open and upright would help with my tendency to pull too long. There was a video on here of Matthew Brown that actually really got me looking at this.
  23. This is something I've been noticing lately too. I disagree with Joel not doing it. Maybe not as much as Freddy.
  24. A lot more people that never knew competition waterskiing existed now will know. Ironic.
  25. If it was a smear campaign they did one hell of a good job.
