  1. It took me a while to dial in the 18 Vapor. I ended in between on boots and fin. I skied some on 19 senate 67". Stock long shallow worked pretty good but had to be careful to not blow the tail when scrambling. We tried bindings back, short and deep and seemed better. It was Tfin numbers from other tread.
  2. Haha. Thanks for reminding me about the rolly thing. I tweaked my back the other day.
  3. I could probably pull you if can't find anyone else. We're expecting our first grandkid in November so I'll have to see then.
  4. I went from Ohio to Texas never had an issue when I bought my boat. Guess it's a gamble. In Texas they actually want you to take the plates off when sell something.
  5. Mine doesn't have arms for green. Had two small anchors with rope and green buoys. We used a GPS to get them close. Only one on each end. It's not great but better than nothing.
  6. @zmam Asking what are the difference he's taking about. I'm on an 18 Vapor and past 28off I feel like I need to change something and I'm not sure its all me? I was think of this specifically in response to what @adamcord was saying about turning the ski more down course and this is what Andy was showing in the video.
  7. I remember seeing a video of Andy discussing 28 vs 38 of different path the ski takes and how the ski needs to be setup differently. What are the differences in setup and how the ski reacts.
  8. I went back and watched the video in slow motion. It looks like the heel of the boot separated from the ski and the boot folded in the middle. Its on the last roll when he's upside down with the ski tip in the water.
  9. Doesn't look good for him. Unless something major changes I think he's has a way out. There's a Houston officer that just got charge with murder the other day for stepping over the line. Very sad.
  10. https://www.mikro-just.com/ website is still up. Says they are temporarily out of stock.
  11. I got some from Barts the other day. They were the cheapest I could find.
  12. I'm on the second one, great vest.
  13. I'm interested in this myself. I'm a few loops behind you. But when ever I start working on a new loop I tend to pull past the wakes. My rationalization is that since I'm starting from a narrower position I need to start the work area sooner so I will end up with the same timing as the previous line length. It's something that has frustrated me and I'm not sure what the answer is. I was at a Radar demo and Brooks mention trying to level my shoulders more to help release the ski for edge change.
  14. I'm with @dave2ball, skis that ride deeper especially in the turn. Maybe a 2020 vapor and not necessarily a probuild. Connelly gt-r. D3, I was on X7 for a whIle it was a good rough water ski. Skiing rough water will teach to stay on edge.
  15. I have the original supershells. I moved mine out by one hole. Not sure how they've it over the Revs. For me allowing the cuff to rotate forward helped me, before I was getting too much tip pressure into the turns.
  16. Larger and is more comfortable for me and less missed handles.
  17. I agree. I tried a ski and had to push the bindings all the forward. I could fell the plate flexing when I hit the wakes. Had one release from it. Should be standard
  18. Maybe a solenoid or valve sticking. @Jody_Seal. I'd get it check out before it does damage to the transmission. Could just need some adjustments. Maybe the shifter?
  19. What's the requirements to get an EVP exception. The only way I'll every be able to ski regionals is to change jobs. I have to work a plant shutdown every summer and regionals are always during the shutdown. If every got the level 8 requirement it would really be nice to ski in nationals.
  20. Credit unions. I went through USAA.
  21. Front half does look good there. Agree on the effort, last couple days out I was getting back on the ski and struggling at 28off. Let the rope out to the 25off training loop and just concentrated on stack and COM forward. Even with a huge head wind I was so wide at 1 ball I didn't quite know what to do. It was just smooth and effortless, it makes such a difference.
