  1. I'm using Reflex with R-sytle rear. I haven't tried the HO Releasable binding but it looks nice. I was on D3 T-factor before which are similar to HO Animals. My ankles were always sore with Rubber bindings no problems since changing.
  2. They are #10 x 32. They are measured from below the bolt head for length. That's probably a 3/4 inch bolts. Look for 10-32 x 3/4. 316 stainless would be best but 18-8 will work. You think someone in the UK would have them. I've used either blue loctite or grease, never had a seize issue since.
  3. I used an old laptop with Vista.
  4. Somewhere I was reading Chris Rossi said he tried to run every pass in practice. He'd slow the boat a little in hardest pass. I slowed to 32 mph 32 off lately a few times and I think it helps. Once I can run 32 mph I'll speed back up.
  5. @Chris Rossi I tried a 67" Senate Pro with boots at 30.5 and stock fin settings. I liked it so got me thinking. I put my boots at 30 1/4 and the Senate fin settings on 2018 Vapor Pro. It was hunting some. I move the boots back to 30 1/8 and that was the best yet. Offside turn was very comfortable with no tip grab after 2 days with 3 sets. Fin 2.465, 6.960, .775, 9
  6. @horton what was the hate part, I'm having a similar problem? I started with the long shallow w/ boots at 30 1/8. Then the short deep w/ boots 30. I'm on a 67" 2018 probuild Ski felt faster with long shallow but the off side was very unpredictable, I was having to make big safe offside turns then make it up on my onside. Tip was grabbing and out the fronts at the buoy. The short deep setting helped with the offside but the buoy count is down. Your back another 1/8" then considering another 1/8".
  7. Temporary? Wonder if the investigation is final or could this still lead to a permanent band?
  8. My renters were having problems at a rent house I have. House got broke into a few times and cars as well. I put out some of those dummy cameras. They look real and have a LED light ring so they can be seen easily at night. We haven't had a problem since. It be worth a try.
  9. I'm using the original Supershell with the double loop front so can't comment on that. Does the 3.0 have the heel strap? I had to let the strap out some which helped make my turns more predictable. It did take some time transitioning to Supershell from black cuff, but they're some much more comfortable. For pure performance I like the old style boot, unfortunately they were just a little on the small size. I'm using the intuition aqua liner with a superfoot insole in the Supershell. I had to reheat the liner several times before I was happy with the fit.
  10. I'm 170lb but 6'2" Terry recommended a 67". I use Reflexes and couldn't get my binding for enough forward to get to what Terry's recommended. Seemed like it had potential.
  11. The original SS prop of my 99 Malibu Response. I took it off with about 160 hours so its in good shape, like new really. I've kept it around for a spare but ready to get rid of it. If your interested make me an offer.
  12. Unless you were able to have ZO load the software in the head you have to load it or have it done. If you give ZO a call they will email you a file. You will need the serial numbers on the back of the heads and the boat/engine info. You'll need an ECOM adapter and Aquastar software (free to download) for the computer you're using. Best if you can find someone that has the adapter and experience. It's not to difficult though. https://www.zerogps.com/zero-off-ecom-reprogramming-kit/
  13. We I changed skies a few years ago my back started hurting. I read a thread on here about 4 way stretch shorts board shorts. I've had zero issues since. Deep water starts were painful before. I'm been using radar shorts last few years but any board shorts that say 4 way stretch will work as long as they're not too balloonie.
  14. I have the same size Boa and 41 tail, large. Seem to fit similar. They're both too short on my fingers.
  15. I think your dipping your shoulder and letting your hips fall back some on the offside. Nice skiing for drysuit weather though. I'd say on the offside, try to push your hips forward more as you reach out the handle then try to ski your hips to the handle as you came out of the turn. You also have something going on when going from good side to offside where your opening up and letting the handle out and high off the wake.
  16. Sierra Nevadas awesome hiking. I've been fairly close to Bakersfield when hiking there.
  17. Tournaments take long enough as is without video review for every pass. Is there a protest process at Moomba similar to what happened at the Masters?
  18. Softer flex: The D3 EVO-S traces its heritage to the incredibly successful ARC-S. The EVO-S still features the quick, stable turns the EVO is known for but don’t be fooled… the EVO-S has performance to spare. A softer flex philosophy from the middle of the ski forward allows the skier quicker more precise access to the front of the ski as the skier changes edges and approaches the turn. The EVO-S is especially effective for skiers who like to ride a slightly larger size ski or may be on the lighter side of the weight-range.
  19. No judgment on Nate or his accuser but reading through the swim article seem like this system is really ripe for abuse. Once your name is on the Internet it's tarnished no matter what the investigation finds.
  20. I think Robert Pigozzi's was studying LaPointe videos (or trained by) for gates.
  21. I skied with a guy named Jeff McClanahan in college mid to late 80s. He was the South Central region record holder in slalom M1. He jumped and was a good tricker.
  22. You can get some decent water on Travis if you get out at dawn. Sunday's usually better than Saturday. The lake snakes around with high cliffs on the outside of bends so no matter what the wind is you can usually find smooth water somewhere. Fishing is ok, good if know where to go. I used to keep a floating course there, it probably still there on the bottom.
  23. I grew up skiing Lake Travis. The levels vary a lot but the channels are really deep in the main part of the lake and its pretty easy to follow the channels because of the high cliffs on the bends. I always liked when the lake was down because it makes some nice beaches to park and hang out. Unfortunately its became a mad house on the weekends during the summer, surfing or wakeboarding is your best bet then. During the weekdays its not bad. I've been to Conroe a few times, you'd probably need to get someone to show you around there. There are places that have trees and stumps that could be dangerous.
