In 1972, Jeff Rodgers was sent to prison by a military court for a crime he didn't commit. He promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, he survives as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him....maybe you can hire Jeff Rodgers.

@chris55 haha, love it.

Legend narrates that Jeff Rodgers skis on rubber bindings because that's the only material that can absorb his insane load across the wakes. He'd go without bindings, but that would make it look unfair to others. And Jeff cares.

This may not be as funny, but is supposed to be true.

Back in the day Jody Johnston told me of Jeff forgetting his drill when going to test skis at Lake Wellington. No worries. He just grabbed a screwdriver and manually twisted them into the ski.

(FYI: For you younger types this was before inserts. Just twisted a sheet metal screw through aluminum. No big deal)
